Try running Metro2033 at 1920 x 1200 with max everything and tessellation and DOF and then tell me your 9 fps on a gtx580 is adequate?

TBH I would'nt base a GPU's performance on metro 2033, that thing is more of a hog than crysis and it's a corridor shooter lol.

Since my gtx580's were vapaourware, I still have my gtx470's in SLI.

Was never quite sure it was a worthwhile move anyway.

Looking forward to the 6950 and 6970 and may move over to a single 6970 if it's good enough.

Or even pick up a couple of gtx570's if the price drops on them.

570's not much of an upgrade over 470 SLI IMO.

Tessellation performance greater than that of the 580, think heaven 2.1 extreme tessellation benchmark, that's my lot.
