I believe (it is with my S3) that it is only a case of fitting the RSAP adapter to the phone prep cradle to enable it.Has anyone ever gone about retrofitting "bluetooth high" (rSAP) to a car that has bluetooth phone-prep (bluetooth low)?

My '85 ur-quattro Turbo
Absolutely love it!
My S3
I've done a fair amount in VAG-COM, besides enabling the AMI unit.
I've added the battery meter to my MMI, added graphical display to my parking sensors, adjusted the sensitivity of the auto lights and wipers, and other piddly little stuff like that which I can't remember off the top of my head.
I have also done the battery level after I upgraded the SW to 5570 but not dont the graphical parking....Any tips please?
Tempted to trade up from my Clio to that, something that isn't boring but is a bit cheaper to fuel/tax (mostly A road/dual carriageway commute, cruise around 70mph for 30miles, 2 miles of town driving at either end)
That's why I looked for a 170 - I take it then that they are boring as sin I drive my other half's A4 TDI SE 140 all the time and although I wouldn't describe it as 'interesting' I don't quite fall asleep at the wheel.Isn't boring? You do know you just linked to an Audi A3 TDi?!
First things first you need to make sure that your parking sensor module (near CD Changer) supports graphical output. From what I can tell, all A8s have 8 sensors (4 front, 4 back), but revisions A and B of the module don't support graphical output.
You need 4E0 910 283 C or greater IIRC. Slightly different for the A6 so I'm not 100% sure about the part numbers for the A8.
It should the just be a case of coding in VCDS:
0?xxxxx: Optical Illustration
0 = without Optical Illustration in Display
2 = with Optical Illustration in Display

How do they compare to Golf GT TDIs? Based on a common platform or not?
