Audi owners in here!

3 months?! So I will be waiting around the same time? This is my first proper car, I'm 19, but works treating me well haha. I opted for the privacy glass but is it as bad as it looks on google? Are there any better examples?

3 months if you're lucky ^^

PG is not bad at all, you'll appreciate it on hot days as it stops the sun burning your arms and legs!

I hope you got a good discount!

I just checked the options, I ticked MMI radio with CD player as it was £0, is that mean I won't get the popup screen on the dashboard? Or all of them come with the screen regardless

I'm pretty sure that is the standard spec, which includes the pop up screen. If you can stretch to it go for the next one up which has a higher res screen and I think is the one that adds the Google Maps. I wish I'd specced it on my a6.

I'm getting it through work new cars only. She recommended a three series which has a 8-12 week waiting time, can get a 63 plate a1 with a further 25% of, can anyone talk me into the a1? It's alpine white 1.4 tfsi

Should be able to get a 6month old a3 saloon by now.,

Would surely be able to get a good A4 for the same price as a new A3?

The A1 5 Door is a fairly nice car, surely you could just get an A3 Sportback though?

Don't get an a1, it's a girls car. Would you get a corsa over an astra? Would you get a fiesta over a focus? It's the same sort of choice. 1.4 is slooow too (unless it's the souped up version). 3 series is a nice car.

Try Stoke Audi i have purchased and picked up the next day.

A5 Black Edition
A6 Black Edition
Q7 Special Black Edition (4.5k of extra's)
A7 Black Edition

I would never wait for a new car, must be just luck as they always have plenty in stock. For some reason as well you are no longer able to order a A6 Black Edition at all.

Depends if you're asking for something sat at the docks or on a show court somewhere or your own build. If you're willing to compromise on stuff, then yeah you can generally get one there and then.

Can anyone tell me about the A6 2.7 and/or 3.0 TDI?

Looking into them as a potential next vehicle. Don't know a whole lot about them in terms of what to look out for so pros/cons would be good.

I've got a 2.7tdi, had it for a year now. It had 110k miles on it when i bought it (2006 plate), i've put 23k miles on it in a year and it hasn't missed a beat, it has the multitronic gearbox, which is a safe bet and i average about 39/40mpg driving mostly single carriageway A roads and dual carriageways (50/50 mix). I'm driving to Barcelona in 9 days so i can report back on a proper motorway drive when i get back.

What to look out for....

Make sure you get a decent spec (MMI high for nav etc), it won't cost much more than the basic but makes the interior so much nicer, and also the whole interface too.

The gearbox and the quattro system are very reliable as long as they are looked after. Check the service history is up to date. Also, check the previous owner has looked after it (check the tyres for a clue, if they are decent, the owner most likely cares, i put contis all round on mine).

Apart from that, not much goes wrong with them, just drive and listen for strange noises, check the multitronic works as it should etc.
