My long term average is about 28 I think, usually get around 30 to a tank with mixture of driving.

Forgot to mention, I always have my climate control on auto, not sure how much of a difference that makes to an hour in the car each day

I would like the 3.2 A3, but the insurance is ridiculous for me. For some reason the 2.0T is affordable despite being almost as quick.

I really do love the 3.2, have a dilemma now as just ended up with a new company car and really should sell the thing but don't really want to
If it was a minty mint example I'd be more inclined to keep it, but realistically it's too 'sensible' to keep on as a second car. If someone could stick the engine from the A3 into the Golf GTD sitting infront of it on the drive it'd be just fine

Not all bad though, at least means now I have the 'sensible' car can finally get something for me and not have to compromise on something that can also soak up the work mileage.

I know I have asked before but does any bother getting vpower diesel? Is it worth it?
On the first few fill ups I got vpower diesel but then just went for the standard shell stuff.

I have tried most of the premium diesels. I found Esso premium to give me the best mpg out of them all, but it was hard to come by.
I don't bother with it anymore though, just fire in a shot of 2 stroke, and it goes fine, starts great, and a cleaner running.

The only Super diesel I found that actually had a measured MPG increase was BP Ultimate. That was measured over 2 months against a few others (each given 2 months) and gave 5mpg more on my daily run of 25 miles.

Fourth time now someone has asked me whether it's a real S3..
The fact they're so subtle is actually quite nice. Doesn't get any attention at all. Shame people might think it's actually a diesel tho

But it doesn't stand out when parked on the street and I haven't had anyone try to race me. It's quite nice if I'm honest.
Unsurprisingly the car is equally boring to drive
The power is unnecessary as well as my commute is 20 mins on dual carriageways. Maybe I should get something small with a revvy engine.
But then getting into it last night after dinner out and cruising home, all the toys and the 'boring' aspect, but with plenty of poke, was really nice to have...

Loads of numpties badge up their 2.0TDIs as S3s. The wing mirror covers are particularly popular and are regularly nicked.
Indeed. I was honestly expecting my wing mirrors to be nicked within days of moving back to Brussels. I park on the street but thankfully it's a nice area!
Shame people still can't seem to park without scuffing the bumpers

Couldn't the bottle be a little more "stealthy" as it looks a bit bodged at the moment. I'm assuming it's a meth/water setup and if it is have you had it mapped in yet?

It isn't mapped in yet. I was running Revo 2+ along with their DSG map but I don't believe their software got around the torque limiter as it was limited to 310lb/ft on dynos
For the moment the car is running stock software until Oct 3rd when its going to R Tech.
