I have a 2006 2.0 TFSI Audi A3 Sportback with DSG.
Granted I'm pretty lead footed, I get around 26-27mpg
That's worse than what I get in a 3.2 A3
My long term average is about 28 I think, usually get around 30 to a tank with mixture of driving.

Forgot to mention, I always have my climate control on auto, not sure how much of a difference that makes to an hour in the car each day
A3 3.2 + Golf GTD = Golf R32.
The Golf R32 shares the same engine.
I know I have asked before but does any bother getting vpower diesel? Is it worth it?
On the first few fill ups I got vpower diesel but then just went for the standard shell stuff.
Fourth time now someone has asked me whether it's a real S3..
The fact they're so subtle is actually quite nice. Doesn't get any attention at all. Shame people might think it's actually a diesel tho
Hah fair point. This was from colleagues and friends though. My friends with an A3 is always getting people asking him if it's an S3... annoys me a little
Must be getting some attention if people are asking!
Indeed. I was honestly expecting my wing mirrors to be nicked within days of moving back to Brussels. I park on the street but thankfully it's a nice area!Loads of numpties badge up their 2.0TDIs as S3s. The wing mirror covers are particularly popular and are regularly nicked.
