Audi owners in here!

Doesn't look it! My S3's on 120 as well but cost a damn sight more..

The car is in amazing condition, I cant find a scratch or dent on it anywhere. The previous owner did tell me he scuffed the front bumper and had it re-sprayed along with the bonnet so there are no stone chips what so ever. I don't usually like cars that have had paint but it has being done by Audi so its a perfect job

They're not strictly BBS CHs. They're BBS Pescara.
Part number 8P0601025R, 18x7.5J

BBS CH are lighter and 8J
Although I think the ones on the Mk5 GTI ED30 are 8J, can't remember now.

Ah Cheers. I knew the CH were 18x8 and on the ED30 never knew there were ones that looked similar.

A few people have been telling me the wheels are worth a fair bit, Wont be selling them I prefer them to the standard 5 spoke s line wheel on this year. Think there too common

I preferred the 19" Speedline Split rims from that age a car. They are still my favourite Audi wheels.

I had the 18" BBS Callitos on my 8P when I had it though. They were nice too...

For anyone interested, finally got round to taking some snaps of the new car

Gone a bit dead in here lately so...

Having come from 17 years of diesels back to a petrol, I've been keeping an eye on economy to see how it fares. Don't have any misconceptions about it competing with a diesel of course.

Most of my journeys are short urban trips of 3-4 miles with junctions or lights every mile at most. In these conditions I'm getting around 30mpg. My old diesel only managed around 35 so not too bad a drop. The petrol warms up far far quicker which probably helps a fair bit, the diesel was still barely warm by the time I'd get to my destination.

On the motorway at a constant 70mph I'm seeing around 52mpg which I think is pretty decent for a petrol! Again the diesel was only about 10mpg better than this. Haven't done any real testing at speeds above this but suspect it'll drop off significantly.

I'm quite pleasantly surprised tbh. I knew I'd be better off overall regardless as I pay around £40 per month less in P11D tax plus the fuel itself is cheaper. Car has only done 750 miles so far so could yet get a bit better.

I am looking at getting a new car. Looking at an A3 Sportback, but looking at the used models i don't think i will find one with the spec i want, so anyway my question is to anybody that has bought a brand new car from Audi.

what sort of deal did you get/ how much money off the price?

when using the configurator online to build the spec i would like, is the final cost set in stone or will they offer me a deal/do i have any chance of knocking them down on that price?

I have purchased several new A4 Quattro's from Audi and always managed to get a discount or free extra's & I buy without using any finance. You could always try and find an ex demo. My current A4 Quattro Avant was listed at £35k but at 12 weeks old and 1500 miles on the clock I paid 28K which was quite a big saving.:)

Thanks for the reply, i will be paying cash, no finance needed so i hope this helps.

That is the sort of deal Im after! of course if i can find a ex demo or used with the options i want that would be ideal.

I usually find mine through the Audi used car search. May take time but its worth it. Best time is near new reg issue and be prepared to travel for the right deal.

It wont help. They WANT to sell you the finance product as they get more money that way.

If you look at the deals on offer from the likes of drive the deal (who often have great offers on Audi's BTW), most of the them state the discounted price is only for finance customers. Cash customers may have to put in up to £2k more.
