Audi owners in here!

All that'll mean in the future is that no cars can have more than a single exhaust. We're clearly moving into an era whereby large displacement, >4 cylinder engines are becoming rare. Even Porsche are at it.

My new car is now on a boat somewhere between Emden and Tyne (the polite word for Grimsby, I believe). I wholly expect it to sit in customs for the maximum possible time once the boat docks! Want. It. Soon.

What did you go for?

Agreed about the twin tips looking better than quad^ Each to their own and still an awesome car no doubt.

Thinking i'm definitely done with Audi, the driving characteristics just...well, there are none. Decision is, do i keep the A4 and save up for a weekend toy or buy another large saloon...(like the f10 i keep going on about but never actually take the plunge..)

Those of you who have the newest revisions(e.g 16 plate a4), hows the drive?

A Q7. Wasn't impressed with the exterior when I saw pictures, but its a very different car in the "flesh". The interior is amazing too and we'll put the 7 seats to good use!

It does look a bit silly, a workmate has just picked up a new RS3... that has 2! Looks a lot better to me.

Agree.
To be fair though, if i had an S3 or the equivalent VAG, that looks like this:

I'd certainly just upgrade the exhaust from sport cat back to the tips anyway.

As an aside, did the previous gen RS3 ever come with 2 round exhausts on the left only rather than 1 oval either side?

The first RS3 (2011?) had 2 round on the left. Not sure if they changed it after that and before the new one.

So I took my top of the range, all singing all dancing, halo car to Audi today and got a............A4 TDi loaner :D Must say, the damping seems much better than I remember, but STILL terrible steering and over servoed brakes. Taking it down the M40 tomorrow so will report back on living with the new A4....for a day. Will be pared at Heathrow this week then I'll drive it home Friday.

It has a telly stuck to the dashboard too.

Main thing putting me off the new A4 as a replacement for mine. Really wish manufacturers would **** off with the "iPad and superglue" approach to in car infotainment systems :(

Even the A3 gets a better placed and integrated infotainment system.

It looks awful as do air vents running the entire length of the dashboard. Also it's a messy layout, buttons seem to be all over the shop and I don't want a silver start button, it MUST be red, this is the law. I think it will do 10000000 to the gallon though and I suspect many owners think it's as quick as my R8, but it's a 'little' slower. Might still be tight engine I guess, it is new.

Hi all, new to me yesterday is my A3 Black Edition. First 'nice' car I've had, and it's an upgrade from the silver Astra seen in the background (what an upgrade!). I've been looking for one for a few months with a fairly specific specification in mind, and stumbled across this a few days ago, went to see it that night and left a deposit.

2.0 CR170, has a couple of mods such as S3 door mirrors, Q3 heater panel and I think it's been de-badged on the rear, although not sure if BE's are like that standard and the wheels have recently been powder coated, which I believe is a different colour than standard.

Absolutely over the moon with it though. 68k miles, 1 owner, FASH.

I always thought black editions came with the rotors? Anyway, nice enough looking motor, although I think I prefer body colour wing mirrors personally. Leather, Nav and Bose?
