Audi owners in here!

Some good news, had a call from an Inchcape dealership, and they have the following, which is almost exactly what I was looking for, due to start building in the next 3 weeks or so.

A5 Sportback 2.0 TFSI (190 Bhp) with S-tronic
Daytona Grey
Tech pack
Extended LED interior lighting pack
Flat-bottom steering wheel

The only thing I’d change from that spec would have been the colour, I’d have preferred Scuba blue, but must say I do really like the grey as well. :)

Headed up there tomorrow, if they can get within a reasonable distance of the Jardine dealership’s offer, I’ll happily signed on the dotted line for it.
There you go! Told you it was worth calling another franchise ;)

I have to ask as my car has one... what is with the flat bottom steering wheel business? Does anyone actually think they are any better than a wheel that's actually a wheel? The flat bottom one on my car just bugs me.

So you don't bang your knees init

Has never been a massive problem for me, I like my wheels to be wheels. I was surprised at how much the flat bottom annoyed me tbh. Perhaps i'll get used to it :)

Will be refurbishing the wheel on mine over the weekend as it's looking a bit worn out.

Any full pics of that? Looks fantastic!
Of course! From Combe last year....

RS6 right? Looks great! How long did you hold off before you mapped it?
Yeah C7 RS6, so waited a couple years until the warranty ran out, too long.....

Dyno'd it today, 771 horses and about 1086 torques....we were hoping for >800, my excuse is that it's hot! :D

I had a 2016 A6 with a round wheel and now have a 2017 A6 with a flat-bottom one and yes I prefer the flat-bottom. It looks nicer and I've never missed the round wheel when steering.

Lovely colour on the RS6

Ok so end of last week my car has started doing something weird, when you unlock it it lowers the drivers side window to about half way down, ok i figure its a limit switch of something in the door, no big deal not happy but thats what warranties are for, phone up Audi dealer i bought the car brand new from less than 3 months ago, "yeah were busy we only have appointments to bring it in in JUNE", hung up called the sales manager up I dealt with buying the car and flipped out a little, Bring it in on Wednesday he says, ok.

So this morning its bleeding stops doing it doesn't it, guy in the service centre said nothing is showing as an error and bring it in if it does it again.

Hope it was a bit of crud in the sensor or something cause i don't want this to end up like the year i spent with my A4 and intermittent Sat Nav antenna issues where it would get no signal randomly after nearly a year they gave up and swapped the whole thing, but every time i came within 1 mile of an Audi dealer it would start working again.

To top out my morning a bird just took a GIANT dump on the roof at the station so i'm going to have to clean the soft top this weekend.

Still loving the car and no regrets buying the soft top, makes driving around on sunny days so much fun.

First stone chip on the S5, not a happy bunny :(

Ive ordered a genuine Misano red touch up kit as a stop gap. Can see this bugging the hell out of me and getting it sorted properly.

feel your pain, the wife closed the boot on mine after getting the shopping out this weekend and caught her ring on the lip of it, its the smallest scratch in the world but....... its there....... and i can see it......

My R8 is in again for it's monthly fix of Audi Warranty.....

I have a Q2 in BRIGHT yellow as my loan car....

A diesel.....

BUT

It's a Quattro one......in BRIGHT yellow diesel.

My life, it's all downhill :(
