Audi owners in here!

How can you order a car without driving one first? What if it's crap?

I never drove the Polo and look what happened! I end up with the car the Chiron thinks it is!

I don't think I drove my first M3 before I bought it either now I come to think of it.

Live a little on the wild side.

I know, Audi, the ideal car for girls and estate agents, serious cars have rear wheel drive, like Mercs and BMW.

That's it, I'm selling my Audi :(

Feeling the hurts now :( :(

It should do, yes. At 2015 it should have MMI 3G Plus I believe (joystick on top of the MMI jog wheel), which should allow for both Bluetooth and WiFi streaming, my 2013 A4 did.
My 2014 A5 has bluetooth to connect my phone up but cant listen to music through it. I have to hook my phone up using the MMI adapter in the glovebox to stream music.

Thanks both, this one did end up having it. Has the MMI 3G Plus too I think though I haven't played around with it enough to see if it has WiFi streaming.

The double DIN stereos aren't particularly difficult to remove, usually the same as your standard headunits (4 flat headunit removal tools). Simnply insert until you hear the click and then pull out.

When fitting a new headunit, Do reasearch and make sure you get the correct wiring harness adaptor ;)

Fitted a new one last night!
I got a Pioneer car Play one given how much I will use the car it is a no brainer. Although, I did have an issue with no sound... Turns out the car has an amp which is only activated by a blue 'Remote' wire, splicing these two together made the sound work.

The sound quality is mega, the car drives lovely. I'm actually really happy with it.

Nice!!

Get a picture up, I'm interested how it looks, could be tempted to fit one to my wifes A3.

Posted these in "Show Us Your Motors" but thought I'd pop them in here also for people who don't frequent that thread.

Replaced the MX5 with something that the wife will also drive.

My A5’s built, and currently awaiting shipment to the UK. :D

....They reckon about 3 weeks time for delivery. :(

I found my wait went pretty quickly to be honest. Gave me time to learn and understand how to apply gtechiq ceramic liquid properly. Make sure you do something as the audi paint is terrible.

Just make sure you check her over very carefully. Mine was ok, but my last one had a few chips on the alloys. The dealer had tried to cover it up with a touch up pen. Unfortunately I only found out when giving it a wash and by that time it was too late.

My A5 Sportback arrived on Friday, 2.0 TFSI S-Line, S-Tronic in black. It's replacing a Golf R.

Not had chance to do much driving yet it but first impressions are that it looks much better in person than in pictures, the interior quality is excellent and a real step up from the Golf.

Couldn't justify the quattro or S5 so performance is obviously nothing like the Golf but it doesn't feel painfully slow so I think I'll manage for the 2 years it's mine.

Evening. I need reassurance, I've been considering buying a mk2 tt 3.2 quattro. I have just over 7k, for this I can get a 07 or 08, around 60k miles. I was all set to go buy it when a friend said that's a lot of money for a 10+ year old car. It's really thrown me, is that really a waste of money? I can't really see anything else in that price range that I like. I would have a Gt86 but they start at around 11 so are out of my price range.

Can someone with a TT please tell me they are worth the money!

Having just bought a MK1 3.2 V6 Quattro TT, I can confirm I’m having massive fun in this weather (mines a roadster not a coupe). The engine makes a glorious sound and pulls well (nice to be driving a big-ish naturally aspirated engined car again). Assuming the MK2 in question is well specced and well cared for, I don’t think it’s a massive spend. If you like the looks, you like the drive, and you can afford it, go do it. It’s your money and you are only out to enjoy yourself!

Price sounds about right in today's market. TTs have always seemed to hold value a bit better than a A3 (for example with the same 3.2 engine).

Personally I much prefer the looks of the facelift mk2, but then you're looking at closer to double your budget.
