Is there a competition amongst German manufacturers to come up with the silliest trim levels or something?
I thought Audi had it sewn up a few years back with the Audi A3 Sportback Sport. But then Mercedes came out of nowhere to floor the competition with the Mercedes C180 CDI AMG Sport PLUS. Not AMG. Not even Sport. Not even AMG Sport. But AMG SPORT PLUS!
Now Audi are back with a white Audi TT Black Edition Amplified Black. It's not white with black bits. It's a Black Edition with AMPLIFIED Black! Whoa!
What will BMW fight back with?

The TTS and TTRS have quad pipes if I remember correctly. The rest have double pipes, either together or one each side depending on engine/spec.

Yep, double ovals. Traded S3 in for TTRS last month.... great car really enjoying it.
Been playing with the different modes in Drive Select this week to see if it makes any appreciable difference in either drivability or economy.
The car definitely feels more alive when placed into dynamic, the throttle response is far sharper, and there is more shove into your seat when stepping on the throttle, it does also appear to be a good few % worse in any given scenario for MPG when compared to the economy mode.
Certainly worth activating in VCDS and Hidden Menu, even if it does only give me throttle/engine and steering response (rather than the full suspension, diff, etc that the specced-up cars get).
