Like I said, my opinion, but thanks .How did Kimi have a potential win? His only way of winning was if Ferrari had pitted Vettel first and forced Hamilton to pit early to cover for the undercut but Ferrari were always going to choose the strategy with the maximum chance of Vettel winning over anything that favoured Kimi. Kimi drove the best weekend he could.
Bottas, yeah, poor as usual. Verstappen got jumped at the start and then was the only driver I can recall who wrecked his race by his own unforced error. He threw away an easy 4th place. I don't know how you can describe that as average. I thought Force India did pretty well. They have the lowest budget of any team and they beat out Haas, Toro Rosso, Sauber, and Williams and got both cars to the end with Perez keeping pace with Sainz. That's a decent result for a team like Force India.
Alonso drove a great race. Only Riccardo did better in my eyes.

One race and he is already calling for rule changes. I hate that guy.
Does everyone not remember him also complaining when Red Bull won 4 championships on the trot? No? Me neither."'Mercedes is playing with everyone', says despondent Marko"

Not this year. All customer engines must be identical to the factory teams. SourceIsn't the customer Mercedes limited in output below the works engine?
Exactly my point, the engine isn't the sole reason Mercedes are ahead, despite Marko's constant whining. Also they haven't got the money to develop an amazing car to go with the engine.
So not only do they have a 0.7s magic button in the car, but also significant race pace. Ferrari better hope for the same kind of luck every race.
Which is still small change. It gets blown out of proportion just as an excuse. Mclaren have had 6 months to get it right. Each configuration offers positives and negatives.
From Chandhok's analysis of the pole lap, it wasn't his engine that gained Hamilton nearly 7 tenths so I don't think the "Party mode" / "Magic Button" idea is accurate.
Almost all of his time was made up in the braking zones, with another 0.2s from the extra speed he carried through turns 11/12.
Seems to me like he was absolutely mega on the brakes for that lap and the chassis/aero is extremely good. Kimi actually gained small amounts of time on each of the straights so I'd bet the Ferrari was either running more power, or they had much less down force. The latter seems the most likely.

Still baffled how anyone would rate this at 10/10
