Very interesting qually, not sure what you were watching SS-89!

A Merc binned it, Hamilton hooked up purples for the final lap and the field is mostly close up at the top.

Raikkonen ahead of Vettel too.

I think it will be a fun first race, Bottas charging through a resurgent mid-field to keep things interesting lower down, the Ferraris and Red bulls should be fighting out at the top.

We get to see if Hamilton's lap was pure engine mode or just being in the zone.

I don't understand how anyone can not find that qually full of intrigue!
 
That stupid mini wheel than Hamilton was holding was the Pole Position trophy... Yeah...
Person who has the most pole positions at the end of the year will get a proper rear wheel.

Would be nice though if they remembered to put the Halo on the car image that was cut into the tyre. ;)

Will most likely be a better watch than the rest of the season. Seems this one is already wrapped up before it has even begun. Three quarters of a second qually pace already. Been a whole decade of procession now in F1. They need to loosen up the rules as whoever gets the jump on major rule changes clean sweeps until it is changed again.

no idea what i would do with one, but i want a mini wheel.
 
Dear lord Bottas is useless. Should be a front row lock out. Mercedes seem miles ahead of the rest.

So Mclarens chassis isn’t as amazing as they made out? 2 seconds down on RB with the same engine!?! I kind of had a mild hope they’d be further up there this year. Then again I also thought TR would be a lot higher than they are.. :(
 
I think that post qualy press conference says it all.

You can see it on their faces, Hamilton knows hes won it already, and Vettel knows he hasn't got a chance!

May as well give Hamilton the title now and save us all the 21 race procession..
