I reckon we should have a different avatar for 5,000+ posts.

Yeah I agree and I think it is quite unusual how there are only three ranks, yet they are all bunched up right down the lower end of the post count range. The result being that the vast majority of regular posters are Wise Guys.

Beyond say 15,000, users are allowed to have their custom avatar. To be fair, not many trollers/spammers make it past 15K without being banned.

Another vote for another avatar over the 5000 post count. It seems everyone has the same avatar on this forum. People keep on suggesting new avatars and the response is always, there have been several threads on this, already discussed it, its not going to happen. Pretty poor in my eyes! It seems a lot of people want this, and its only 1 more avatar!

The only option I want is to bring back the "Show Avatars" tick box in the options menu. I have no idea why it was removed, as removing it serves no purpose. As much as I like Tony Soprano, seeing his picture spammed 30 times per thread gets annoying.

More emphasis on this point. I much preferred having no avatars. In a way it made me more aware of who was posting, as I the avatar kind of takes away the focus from the name on the left. And it just looked nicer.

I think the avatars should be spread out more with regards to post count. This is a good board, and it doens't take long to get 1k posts...

As far as a 5k or 15k avatar is concerned, it would be the sort of thing that would make me donate my posts to charity because I don't believe that having more posts is a 'rank'.

Perhaps a new form of MoH would be nice, along with an 'Oxygen Theif' tag for those that insist on posting crap. It would be a nice way to ask them to post in a more considered manner
