Some misinformation in this thread, Pirelli decided to change tyre compounds after the race in Malaysia. Not China.

Also Grosjean will get a new chassis as Lotus try to find the cause of lack of pace.

Confirmed that Kovalainen will have seat time in Free Practice this weekend for Caterham.

Does anyone else think Raikkonen used his influence over the winter to get the car developed just the way he likes it and RG is now playing catchup trying to adapt? Whereas last season the car wasn't developed to benefit one driver in particular afaik.

I've read in a few places that it is a myth that a car would be designed around a driver. They can set up the car towards how they would want it though, race by race.

Hopefully the p problems for rg are something in the car. He is better than this. Hope it isn't something psychological

Yeah this has been a myth that has been around for ages. Teams simply don't design cars to suit a specific driver. With the ban on testing it wouldnt even be possible any more.

So you want a return to boring races where the tyres last the whole race and very little overtaking.
