He did preach forgiveness, encompassing all, bringing people back, caring for that that are radically different to you, turning the other cheek, removing the plank in ones own eye prior to looking for the splinter in others.
All new testament teachings.
Often ignored in massive clumps in preference of some fire and brimstone account or teaching for a different religious group many centuries before.

That's not true at all.
Romans 1 has a lot to say on homosexuality among many other examples in the New Testament. Those who say that God's condemnation of homosexuality is restricted to the Old Testament or the law of moses have either never read the bible or are trying to mislead others/justify their homosexuality.

That link reckons Jesus saw "born Eunuchs" (a term used at the time for effeminate gays) as a gift from God.
Would be interested in a counter argument to it from someone who understands the OT. I'm clueless on the whole thing

Yknow I used to be a Christian once, and nobody in our church was against gay people. It is not part and parcel of what being a Christian is. The church taught acceptance, not hatred.
Is it your belief that all gay Christians are going to go to hell? Or perhaps that gay people cannot be Christians at all?
Are you a simpleton who cannot think for yourself? Are you not capable of living by the rules of love and kindness, forgiveness and sanctity, without blindly following the entirety of the archaic religion, whether it makes sense in the modern age or not?
What if your Dad came out as gay? Or your Mum? Brother, sister, aunt, uncle? Your child?
Would you accept them then? Or would you try and 'fix' them, and be responsible for tearing ties in your family for your stupid belief that someone is unclean, and sinful, for loving another being?

To be honest,I dont see what the deal is.
Its up to the baker who he wants to sell too,Its not as if its the only bakers in the world,Just go else where.
There will always be Homophobia in the world,Same with racists..nothing will ever change so why cry over it..just move on!

The baker is free to serve to whomever they want but they aren't free to discriminate.
We are not interested in what it says in a religious text koolpc. The morality from the bronze age does not have any application in the 21st century.
Interesting that you say homosexuality is not natural although it occurs in nature. Then after all religion is man made.
It is reassuring that religion and people of faith still get things wrong and do immoral things. Like the rest of us.
Satisfying that the appeal failed demonstrating the religious view was unjust and that civil society thinks it is wrong.
Once again this demonstrates that religion and faith leads to division and the religious are only happy when we all think their way.
You have to ask why would a god care with whom you had a chip-shop fumble.
The irony of religion causing evil, particularly Christianity cannot possibly be lost on the inhabitants of Northern Ireland.
If it was a bakery run by atheists we would have no problem giving the straight and gay their daily bread.
Finally, the issue of what gays do is simply not important in contrast to the problems facing humanity.

Why aren't they?.if someone doesn't agree with Gay people thats up to them...they shouldn't be punished for expressing their opinions,Some people are way too sensitive.
I have no issues with same sex relationships at all (just to note),my cousin is gay and has a partner,No issues at all and i respect him no less.

The bakers are free to have their own beliefs, so the bakers are perfectly entitled to be homophobic bigots if they want to be, and the alw doesn't prevent them .
