I haven't played the early access, and I'm really looking forward to this release as surely it can't be bugged or have performance issues when it's been through this length early access phase?

I'll need to get myself a new monitor for this as it's K&M - hopefully the LG 27GR95QE 27" 240Hz OLED meets expectations and is available by then.

I need something to tear me away from Elden Ring! :p

Almost certain that they have moved the release forward because of Starfield, there are two main "big" RPGs coming this year, BG3 and Starfield, as many games get so much marketing from streamers these days as well, it makes sense to move the release forward. They know that every major streamer going will want to stream Starfield, the 5 day headstart for Starfield means that Starfield can be played from Sept 1st, literally 1 day after BG3 would have released. As it stood, they most likely would have only had a day or two of streamer coverage of BG3.

Aside from that of course, from the player base standpoint, both RPGs are likely to take into the hundreds of hours to play through and a handful of days between releases wouldnt be great for RPG fans, this way we can play BG3 all through August and then play Starfield in September, works out better for time management for the players and far better from a marketing standpoint in regard of streamer coverage.
 
I'm happy they've moved the release forward, had a good time with the access we've had so far though I've been trying to not get too far into it... Annoyingly I was planning on taking a day or two off for the release to get a good start into it, but alas I'm the only tech at work so that'll be a big no-no as I'm covering leave... Damnit!
 
Lol, is anyone else watching the last Panel from Hell show? They just showed off how romance works in the game and ended up getting their stream banned on tiktok because of showing a "sex" scene where one of the characters (druid) turned into a bear during the sex scene :D
 
Game is looking amazing. They latest Panel from Hell has showed off a lot. I'm so hyped for this game. Already have a group of friends that I'll be playing it with at launch. Will then need to do a solo run as Dark Urge.

They were banned on ticktoc during the stream because they showed off one of the romance cutscenes. Even though they cut to a "Not safe for Stream" img. :D
