Baldur's Gate 3

thats a good point. i didnt consider that.
but the squirrel does add to the humour.
Certainly does, I dont often follow the romance storylines in games but I do know that they are a popular part of RPGs for many people, I remember a lot of talk during the heyday of the Mass Effect series revolved around which romance option people had chosen to take.

Romance between men and women is one thing, but a squirrel shagging a bear is another! :P

variety is spice of life as they say.
i'm pretty happy if they add differant romance options. it doesnt bother me. i know people that are not straight ect so good for them and their options.
now onwards to release date !

Still think DIV is vastly vastly overrated i know a lot of people liked it but personally i thought both of them were a turd especially when it went all dimensional bullcrap, couldn't wait to get them finished.

Yes, let's panda to those who practise or desire bestiality, wonderful.

I struggle a bit with Larian games, too. I find the silly humour/tone offputting. Div 2 was better in that regard, but some of the game mechanics didn't work for me eg. over-reliance on ground/AoE elemental effects, barrels, combat system ( magic v physical defense ). That said, I think Larian are very passionate about their products and they take great care to make them as polished and bug free as possible. I'm going to give BG3 a go, and I'm looking forward to it.

Oh i will play but wont be jumping in for a couple of years at least.

Still enjoying solasta for my DnD fix, its a bit clunky but loads of free content and expansions now.

I always avoided solasta because I heard the story wasn't that, visually it looks dated and I got the impression it was for creating dnd maps people could play through in real life. What did you like about it?

Its just got some underlaying charm about it. The story is so so as you say and the production values are indie level. It's just old school ISO RPG I guess.

Yeah I loved it too. Just had a certain charm, quite clunky in places but ended up buying the expansions after playing on gamepass.

Didn't like Divinity even enough to finish it. The mechanics were crap, and I had no investment at all in the story.

Absolutely nothing like BG/2 at all.

Loved Div2 was absolutely gripped by it and thought it was even better than Witcher 3.
Booked the 4th off and will be having a mammoth session on this, waited years to play this
