Baldur's Gate 3

Does anyone know how you quickly mark an item as "add to wares" ? Rather than having to right-click on every item. I tried shift and left click but it just multi-selects items

Agreed, would also like a send all food to camp option. I have to right click send to camp on all the camp supplies I find.

Ive stopped playing d4 weeks ago but im not jumping into this yet im waiting for people to play for a few weeks and give some feedback, im not sure if i'll like the turn based combat as ive given up on similar games before, ive also got lots of other games to play now ive got a good pc again, just installing god of war, hogwarts, rdr2, and elden ring, im gonna be busy for awhile.

I was reading one of the forums and there was a lot of threads about how PC games have gone all woke and such crap. So I picked a coloured female lesbian paladin defender of justice and righter of social wrongs as my character. :D
Steam forums are absolutely full of trolls so don't take most of what is being said seriously.

I haven't got past where I was in early access yet but I have handled some situations slightly differently which was nice. "Find your belongings" is bugged out for me which is a little annoying and it feels like a bug that should have been picked up in general testing.
I've noticed some late graphical pop in even on my system but it is microseconds (usually during a dialogue where the camera switches or a cinematic dialogue, very brief but I'm quite sensitive to this stuff). I don't know if it was due to the length of time I had been playing though (others have mentioned performance degradation over time).

I was pleased to discover you don't have to rest to swap companions, just go to camp. This was really getting to me as I didn't want issues to occur with time limited events requiring specific characters on your team.

Someone mentioned there are newer DLSS files you can plop into your game directory if people are wanting more performance, I'm maxed out at 120fps @4k all the time. Interestingly the game chooses 4096x2160 for me instead of 3840x2160 =/

Carry weight seems to be improved, I was really struggling in EA, maybe there are less items?

I had to create my character twice because I completely missed the fact I had to click the icons on the left to modify class etc... haha too much excitement, then out of frustration on my second go I forgot to distribute ability points! Thankfully we get to redistribute later in the game from what I've read.

I haven't left the druid bit yet but already my male companions seem to be coming onto me... I don't have a problem with LGBT but I just found it a bit annoying when all I'm trying to do is adventure.

Interestingly who has jumped from Diablo to this then? I have touched Diablo in weeks and im tempted to jump on this now while i wait for Starfield to release.

Haven't touched diablo for a month or so but also refunded this. I want starfield #1 and I'll feel I'm rushing this to be finished for then so it's pointless playing right now. Plus it will be cheaper by the time I get to it.

@Frenzy I have a few games that do that too despite the fact I have no scaling enabled.

The one piece of advice I would give (and I'm saying this only on the assumption that you arent familiar with the genre so ignore if you are) is to do your research on the game first. Theres a lot of folks out there who do not like this genre but are jumping into it because of the good reviews and a touch of FOMO and are then complaining about the games mechanics, when those are mechanics which are part and parcel of the genre. So be sure its a game you'd have a decent chance of liking before buying.

Hmmm not sure if I should be an Origin character or my own Custom one! Btw I think the Jump mechanics are a bit stupid though, as every round you jump all over the damn place lol

Jump typically doesn't let you move as far, but is useful for jumping over ground effects and such, or going up or down levels in terrain.

I don't find it used that much by the AI but depends on the map I suppose.

This is all using mechanics out of DND 5E according to my friend who plays a lot of DND, so they had to fit the mechanics within the rules of how that works.

I've used jump to jump from pools of acid, over obstacles and to reach inaccessible areas, it is useful but it can be annoying sometimes. Some classes have jump modifiers allowing you to jump further too. I also believe you can jump on stuff to cause damage.

Some things that people might not know about potions

You can throw them at someone to give them the effect, for example if you have a healing potion on you but they are too far away, you can throw the potion at them and it will shatter on them healing them

Likewise, if you put a potion on the ground, then stand all your party around the potion and then smash the potion, all your party will get the potion effects as it splashes on them all

Awesome!!! I did not know this!

Is there no way to relabel bags? I have an extra bag for each character. One carries books or potions or whatever but trying to remember whos got what is a mightmare

From my perspective, I like giving people choice. The problem with some of the games that people call woke is that it's embedded in every aspect of the game, in an unavoidable fashion.

Give people the choices and options to play how they want and no one can complain really!
This game is all about choices including in the character creator. Those who are complaining about 'woke' want certain choices removed.

They annoy me because no one is forcing them to change their character's private parts or put make-up on a male character.

Exactly, as long as the game devs don't make you play something you don't want, I don't see the harm in having options available for people.

This is honestly the worst game I have ever played. Uninstalled after 30 mins

This type of game won't be for everyone, I'm really liking it though, but if you dislike the combat or turn based RPG in general, this isn't going to make you change your mind.

Speaking of minds, I did not realise until just now (at level 5) that you can put points into Illithid powers.

Top right, near the map, there was an Illithid Power button that I could use that I have totally ignored until this point in the game. Sometimes the tips pop up and disappear pretty quick so must have missed it.

ah I'm loving it, up there with the best turn based rpgs  God I'm so slow though, trying to find everything, read all the books etc.

So you have played... 1 game in your entire life?

I would call this one of the best games ever, not even just within the RPG genre :D

My gnomish lady bard, Lavender Moonbrook, will write a song of your deeds.

Saving that for my murder hobo playthrough

I thought you had decided to give it a miss because its turn based and involves rolling dice, I guess the FOMO got too strong for you :D

It's diablo IV all over again.

Also remember how he popped into that age of wonders thread to state turn based sucks and then he goes and buys a turn based game.
Either poor trolling or just a complete misery.

Genuinely think he was the inspiration for this meme, never known someone pop into so many threads just to say they don't like something.
