Its not all that similar to be honest. Like not a million miles away. But very few carry over story points or characters, basically just cameo/easter egg style things. Combat is more specifically turn based rather than real-time with pauses. And even the d&d rule set it based on has changed significantly since the older games.Am looking forward to this. Was debating whether to go through 1 & 2 again but that’s a lot of hours! Is it similar to first two? How big is the party when fully manned?
That's good to hear. I bought 1 & 2 and hate the combat so gave up after a few minutes. Assuming there will be an xbox release at some point? Its not all that similar to be honest. For me at least so far it scratches the same itch, which is good. But don't think you lose anything by not having familiarity with the old ones.
I might be way off here but the game I thought of that it feels the most like is dragon age, more so than even the divinity games. But I'm still right at the start.
Party is 4 people
doss-threeRandom question: how are you all pronouncing the game title?
The combat only gets deeper and more involved and thus takes longer the further you get into the game. If you're still within your 2 hours and finding the combat not enjoyable at this point then my recommendation would be to refund it while you can as I dont think its going to get any better for you. I'm never one to tell people to persist with something that isnt clicking with themCan anybody recommend an OP broken build so I can bulldoze through the painfully slow combat?
I'm already playing on 'Explorer' difficulty to make things move a little quicker but theres just no escaping the Divinity turn based combat style.
PS5 version comes out in a month, but no fixed date for the Xbox version because Larian are having difficulty getting the co-op split screen to function on the Series S. The Series X version is ready, but Microsoft want both versions to be released simultaneously. That's good to hear. I bought 1 & 2 and hate the combat so gave up after a few minutes. That'll be all those pets and minions running about everywhereAnyone else finding performance degrading after an hour or two in game ? Having fun, but have run across several bugs which required reloading of a previous save.
Oi. Shush you !That'll be all those pets and minions running about everywhere
Yeah I've noticed this today the more I've played. Started off absolutely fine but from the druids place onwards its definitely degraded performance wise. It's still mostly fine then framerate drops for no discernable reason in some places.Anyone else finding performance degrading after an hour or two in game ?
