Baldur's Gate 3

Me!

I tried to assign it to one of my multiple mouse keys, it shows as assigned in the menu, but doesn't work in game.

Odd, works for me, I am using a Razer Naga. I assigned the button in the razer software to be alt.

Done. Out of interest, does anyone else suffer from pressing alt constantly to make sure they haven't missed anything. I struggled with this on the other games too
I've got it assigned to the thumb button on the side of my mouse, interestingly though it doesnt highlight everything, so its still worth scanning the area quickly with your mouse

Yeah just noticed that, it highlighted a small pouch but not the huge crates near me. I quite like taking it slow and searching too.

One thing I am not doing is save scumming, that will be for another playthrough maybe.

Few shots. The game is very close to working as a proper third person game (with top down turnbased combat). But for some reason they didn't go all the way and still limit your ability to look up freely, which is such a god damn shame.

Max settings, 1620p downsampled to 1080p.

Pretty sure thats a deliberate choice by the devs.I go by the rolls, that way every play through will be different.

Yeah probably. Just lost an hours progress as I am not quicksaving in the dungeons. Think I am going to dip out of this thread though, I don't really want to see screenshots of areas I've not been to yet.

It is a proper creepy fetish game, everything ends up sexual. I don't recall sex with animals becoming legal either.

You might want to sit down for this but I have to tell you this game is actually based in a fictional setting! It's also not legal to murder people but that's ok because this is a game and the same rules don't apply.

I had to laugh when I came across ....
two ogres in a barn ... one called Buthir, getting taken up the .... umm you get the idea. Big girl she was, and hit like a truck :D
seen that on tik tok and was like wtf then laughed my ass right off :P

Decided to give this a go, despite my Larian / DOS reservations, and you have 30 day returns with GOG apparently.

Have to say, I'm finding it pretty janky with the cut scene stuff, the UI is a bit strange in telling you what's happened/what's going on (blink and you'll miss it in the top-left for approval/disapprovals), and the camera seems weird. Why can't you pan up and down?
Larian's barrels and environmental crap is everywhere as per usual, as well.
Also, doesn't 'feel' very Baldur's Gate, but what would that feel like in 2023, I suppose.

I might refund and come back to it in a year or two as I don't think i'm in the right mood for it.
