BARGAIN - OcUK 24" with DVI (*VA Panel) for £179.99+VAT (This Week Only Deal!!)

Well my first one seems to have 'dimmed' in the month i have had it. Looking at it next to my new one now and the new one has really bright really crispy colors wheras old one the white is more of a....grey...

Major problem tho which is why i am on here atm. The stand doesnt appear to be adjustable yet the second monitor tilts forward. Not just a little either, its quite bad. Is it possible to change the tilt somehow with the screws on the back? The top of the monitor is literally like 2cm infront of my first monitor despite them being next to eachother.

Also how do i get a wallpaper to stretch across the 2 screens as i made a super long one especially, or is it possible to set seperate wallpapers and i can split the one i made into 2?

Trawling through this thread looking for the panel list but cant find it, if anyone has it bookmarked or anything could you please tell me if this panel is decent or not please?

So I have a month before it fades away:confused:;)

The panel you have got is part of some Eizo monitors and is sold for above £ 600 in the UK. So you are lucky with this one (fingers crossed it would last):)

Cheers.

Cheers man, well dont worry just yet as i AM colorblind lol. Thing is the new one is really nice and vibrant, if u check my other thread on here about ocuk 24" stand u can see a pic of the 2 next to eachother and there is a massive difference.

I am 99.9% sure that the old one used to be that bright though but i could be wrong. Also as its a diff panel might need to set diff settings but being colorblind i have no idea how to get accurate colors :)

My 2nd one of these arrived Saturday, and was disappointingly faulty :(.

Anything that moved on the screen caused a trail or different coloured, often green and flashing, pixels.

Happen in the BIOS of two PC's, so defiantly the screen.

Gutting. :(

I simply cant believe that DGM or whoever would ship these out without some kind of basic QC on them?
Perhaps they develop these problems enroute to warehouses/retailers?

Btw don't know if anyone can help me with this.

Ny current mointor flickers a bit (not the faulty one that needs to be returned) when i first turn it on I was wondering what I should do. I don't really want to send it back as I don't think i fault will be found.

but what would my best options be? I know if I can prove it was there when I bought it and it gets worse I can return it longer then the 3year warranty but how do I prove it?

hmm jubei do you have any backlight problems on it?

I think the control panel on them does not work correctly (some stuff changes wrong settings or something) but i found that with a bit of messing abuout i can get good color reproduction.

Seems a lot darker than the other screen if that means anything, the white tends to look blue/grey. You can get onto a diff menu by pressing menu and + together and there is a backlight setting there but it is on 0 on both monitors, changing it doesnt seem to affect the picture at all :/

what looks good on mine is
-red 76%
-green 76%
-blue 91%

-brightness 67%
-contrast 25%

Woah, i figured r/b/g needed to be close or the same. I am colorblind lol but i can still tell white n black and i know this isnt white :)

Will give your settings a try man cheers

erk that has made the screen very 'neon' lol, i think its bright pink though i could be wrong. Was not aware you could make the colors and contrast so drastically diff. Might get a friend over and see if he can match up the colours :)

hehe. soz it din't help. tbh I don't know much about how colour settings work I just kept changing them will I had something that looked good. but its a bit harder if your colour blind.

If anyone else has their settings they can post up it might be useful for other people aswell as just me. Also if someone with the same panel has good settings that might be better for me: AU-M24OUW01-V0

Its a shame my other screen picture is just so much brighter otherwise i would prolly be happy with this one. But compared to my other DGM the pic just looks dull and lifeless lol
