TN panels being sent out,
loads of dead pixels and other stuff.
Just reading through last few pages of this thread and some people are having to replace the monitor like six times? thats ridiculous lol
i am quite funny about things matching and that appears to have a silver border from pics i seen.
Hooray, third time lucky and I've got two working V0 panelsAwesome!
Took a while, but OC were quick with the two RMAs I had to do, and I don't blame them for this since all the boxes claim 180/180 viewing angles anyhow.
could you not just go and collect it from there depot , or you live long way from it .
I have just taken my DGM and i think it's a TN panel! Only ordered it on Thrusday, the failed to send it out for Friday delivery so i paid extra to get it today.
I cant seem to find the Red Menu you are all looking at to find out its panel version.
What do i need to check now, before i ring OCUK asking for them to collect and give me the monitor i ordered.
Reason why i think its TN is down to the viewing angles
Edit: Just found the Menu+ one and i get LG-LM240WU3-TLA1 so that means it is TN as i thought.... bloody joke!!
I'm glad it is a TN panel as not only does this one have a dead pixel in the middle left of the screen there is also a line full line going right across the screen at the bottom which has just appeared... full black line like a full row of dead pixels!
Well OCUK have sorted out pickup and re-delivery of a new VA one for monday which is good, just would have thought they would still be checking these...
But rules are rules, and no-one should be saying the price. I do believe mentioning other brands not available on this website isn't against the rules though?
OCUK still seems to be quick on replacing wrong panels. This is good but it would have been better had they sort it out in the first place.
Has anyone who initially (let's say for a couple of weeks) have been happy with their DGM noticed deterioration of the quality? I am asking as I am currently happy with my V0 panel but should I expect any suprises in the near future?
Cheers.
