BARGAIN - OcUK 24" with DVI (*VA Panel) for £179.99+VAT (This Week Only Deal!!)

well next working day delivery.

wonder what COD4 N UNREAL will look like of this. res is amazing. currently got a 19inch widescreen at 1440 x 990. looks sweet but will be much beter at this res. think crysis will strugle tho :(

Shame the price has gone back up, was very tempted to buy one of these just wanted to see a good review on one and I would have been happy!

Oh well, I guess on This Week Only there is a chance of it dropping quite a bit again!

Mine has been shipped too, should be here tomorrow, means I have to be up early as it's a trek to the CityLink Office. I only have a 7800 GT but I can run some tests on it, plus a Xbox 360 so I can test out some different resolutions too.

yeah make that space. if this is as good as it could be im getting one. if it supports hdcp maybe even 2 who knows ;), dead pixels worry me though. got 1 really annoying dead pixel on my 19 inch. think it woul have to be online so i can take it back.

What is OcUK's dead pixel policy anyway? I know that some of their competitors specify that X number of pixels have to be dead in a specific area before they will provide a replacement.

I ordered mine at the lower price this morning and its still "In our warehouse queue" I'm getting a little worried now, i was hopeing it would come tomorrow as i'm not at work till 4pm :(

1920x1080 is a real 16:9 Ratio, LCD PC Monitors are 16:10 so 1900x1200, the same for non wide screen, they are not 4:3 like CRT's they are 5:4.

I understand that, makes sense but I was wondering what happens when I output a 1080p signal (this is from an Xbox 360 BTW) to the screen, as it is slightly below the native resolution, will the picture be scaled to fit etc.

Or would he get 2 thin black bars on the top and bottom?
