BARGAIN - OcUK 24" with DVI (*VA Panel) for £179.99+VAT (This Week Only Deal!!)

I got mine today. It's pretty good, a VA panel of course but; it has one pixel stuck red and disappointingly it takes 21 button presses to switch between the VGA and DVI source! My old Samsung had a single button to do that.

Any idea when they'll be on offer again?

They go on offer when the availability and price are right. :)

Be a good few weeks between when they go on this week only before we are in a position to put them back up again.

They are a smashing monitor and at the current price are a cracking deal!

mine just showed up - just set it all up with the coloring etc. Wow :D I was a bit dubious as the build quality is a bit sketchy when you look over it closely but now it's sat against the wall on it's stand it looks very nice. Not used to contrast being so vibrant - my dell was incredibly dull. No dead/stuck pixels so far either.

Had one of these from OCUK, cost me with P&P about £245 all told, worth every penny..

Sure it has one or two niggles, that blue light that we all hate, maybe OCUK should send a 1cm square black tape with each screen lol. The build of the surronding frame is not 100% smooth and hard, but it does the job and works fine.

But for the cost, the quality of the picture, the ease of setting up and even getting the details onto the DGM site, simple one good buy. Id buy the Dell, but not for £200 more than this one.

Buy it, you wont be disapointed.

We have 17" Dells at work and they seem very dark (even with a high brightness setting) compared to the OcUK one

Brightness isn't always a good thing though. 500 cd/m2 can be quite painful on your eyes if you're using the screen quite close and there's light colours on screen, especially lots of white. A few people did find them too bright. I think Baddass says less than 200cd/m2 is best for comfortable viewing over an extended period.
