BARGAIN - OcUK 24" with DVI (*VA Panel) for £179.99+VAT (This Week Only Deal!!)

i could send you a profile
as i use mine for professional work i use colourometers

I'd love to have a look at the profile as well - although AFAIK each monitor is different and thus applying someone else's profile wont necessarily give a good result?

Ah yeah if it's 8 months old I guess that's all right. I noticed a couple of posts by other people in different threads saying their new monitors had a defect after a week or so they get sent a refurbed monitor by some manufacturers :/

I've knocked my desk with my knee a few times and haven't had it wobble at all, I think the stand is fine really.

The 6ms response time seems fine to me, haven't noticed any ghosting/blurring with fast moving video/gaming, somebody in this thread linked to a website comparing the response time with moving images with various other monitors and it had something like the second best results.

That'd be the wallpaper. ;)
Alright, looks like I'll pick one of these up when this month's pay comes in. Cheers.

Had my monitor since last december from OCUK. Never had any problems until last night when it suddenly developed a black line running horizontaly across the screen about 1/3 of the way down :(

I think I remember someone posting in this thread about having an issue like this when their screen was brand new. Should I contact OCUK or do I have to go through Digimate? Gutted that this has happened after 8 months of problem free use:rolleyes:

any idea whats with the price hike? today it's a tad under £265! which is a lot more than the thread title.

I think I'll wait to see if it goes down, especially when it is a lot cheaper elsewhere atm which surprises me.

And the ad at the top of this page still shows £199.99+VAT. I can't see OCUK selling many at £265 when it's so much cheaper elsewhere, my VA panel came from elsewhere.

True, this monitor is on my radar, but only when it drops down to OP price or thereabouts. I've had my CRT for the past 13 years or so, so no rush! :)

I'm the same, all the stories of dead pixels, humming noises, bright lights, ghosting, input lag and all the other crap that can go wrong with TFT's put me off anyway :)

I'm bound to end up getting another refurbed 22" CRT for next to nothing if my current one finally dies.

Okay, I thought £265 was bad, but I just looked again today and noticed they've now gone up again to just under £294....

I am looking to buy 2 of these, come on OCUK I like to stay loyal, but they're nearly £100 more expensive than elsewhere.

From £179.99 to £249.99 ex VAT can't simply be down to the £/$ rate.

Also the ***Previously sold for £239.99+VAT!*** on the listing, is now not a good USP

I was going to order one this coming week... but not any more!

Give with one hand (free shipping) and take with the other (bump price up). :(
