BARGAIN - OcUK 24" with DVI (*VA Panel) for £179.99+VAT (This Week Only Deal!!)

I don't think places do guarantee them, but send it back under DSR if it's not. AFAIK the vast majority are recieving VA panels.

It seems as though the Yuraku is the same spec as the OcUK version so I'll go for that.

Actually that appears incorrect, I've found tens of posts over the net that suggest the Yuraku MB24WKA is the same but it cant't be it has inferior contrast ratios 800:1 not 1000:1 as per the OcUK (Digimite), yet people are 100% it's PVA.

My Yuraku arrived but unfortunately it's TN panel so it's going back.

If only OcUK would drop there price down to the competitors i.e. £80 less, they've have my business.

I'm sure they'll sleep at night with their big cars and massive houses lol.

Just ordered one of these along with the £150 LG BD-RW drive, bring on blu ray at 1080p!

Ordered a B grade one and received today, panel AU-M240UW01 V0, came boxed with leads but no documentation. No dead pixels, just a little more backlight than i would've liked. Will play around with OSD at some point.

Overall, an absolute bargain, even better with the 10% return-to-OCUK discount!

Got a 4870x2 to go with it too, waiting for an 8-pin PCE-E adaptor now...OCUK doesn't sell them unfortunately :/

Thing is the b-grade stock doesn't list as PVA nor do they list the viewing angle of 180 which means they should be the TN stock.

I really wish we could be told if the b-grade is a load of TN or PVA. As i really h8 the viewing angles on my 22" lg (TN panel). Please could one of the Dons speak out :p

looks to me a PVA one

which means that the b-grade stock is pva or both, which means a lucky dip for the pva monitors. Has anyone brought one that has a TN panel?

I might buy one and if it's TN I'll just send it back under DSA. But first i will give them a ring to see if someone knows :)

Just got off the phone from overclockers wasn't very helpful tbh Phil on the phone said it wouldn't be possible to find out what panel type is :(. So can anyone shed some light on this please

If it's PVA then you got one more sale here :D

To be honest it's worth their time checking otherwise they will have to do double the work handling the immediate returns!

I spoke to another store and they said they'd only send out a 180' and that was £199 inc vat.

By the way I'm not anti-OcUK as just this week I bought a 4870, I just want a fair price. ;)
