*Batman: Arkham Asylum*

Just finished this. What a fantastic game!!!

I only did it on normal but i will be going through it again on hard. I want to get the Party Pooper achievement anyway.:D

I would have liked it more if they could have had some Wayne Manor/ Alfred bits at the beginning, and maybe play the bit where you capture Joker, but hopefully it will be in the next.
 
Completed it earlier, unfortunately I forgot to get the 'Party Pooper' achievement and as I already just finished the game on the hardest mode I don't think I'll play through it again just for those 10 points!

Loved it though, I can see this or Uncharted 2 being my GOTY.
 
I caved in and bought it on friday.
I have to say I am dead happy I bought it :) Fantastic game so far. Just came out of the bat cave 1st time.... So I havnt played that far in.

I will deffo play more of this tonight. GOTY for me so far.
 
I was trying to make Beatles:Rock Band my only purchase this month but I saw this for 46 Euros and thought why not. The demo was impressive but I wasn't totally convinced how good it would be; I'm glad I never stuck with that impression as I think it's fantastic. The bit in the morgue with 5.1 on sounds amazing and I'm impressed with the variety so far.

Yes, it does this to me also and I'm usually fine with games. The only other one that gets me is Half Life 2.

Can only play this for about 1/2 hour before I feel icky which is frustrating as it's superb.

How weird...Half Life 2 made me feel sick as well!

One thing I've tried with batman is turning of the camera assistance and upping the brightness a notch...and it seems to have made a bit of a difference.
 
Arrrgggghhhhhh I'm still undecided whether to buy the game or not.

Not sure whether to trade Fallout 3 (which I have only played about 4 hours of) but I know I don't have the time to plough into it, so I might go for something a little less time consuming like Batman.

Decisions Decisions.
 
A few questions for those that have completed the story...


POSSIBLE SPOILER BELOW;








I'm at the botanical gardens now, have i got much further to go? The main menu screen said about 38% complete but does that include the riddles/upgrades etc, or just the main story?

Only reason I ask, is i doubt I'll want to go through it all again just for the riddles etc, so want to get 100% first time through

You are not that far off depending on how far into the gardens you are, its a pretty big section. prob 2-4 hours left I reckon. the 38% is for everything. riddles the lot.
 
ljt: when you finish the story line, you can just carry on around Arkham and find the riddles and secrets etc, you don't have to start again :)
 
but there arent any bad guys to beat up on the way are there? I dont fancy just running around looking for trophies lol. At least if i back track for a bit now, I'll have enemies to fight on the way :p
 
I've been torturing myself over it all weekend, and today I caved. Will buy this then trade it in against Forza 3 LE next month, should pass the time nicely along with Fifa 10 Demo/full game.
