Batman Arkham Knight - Official Thread!

UPDATE 1: Rocksteady has posted this message via their community forum:

“Hi all

We’re aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously. We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible.

We’ll update this thread when we’ve got more info to share.

Thanks
CODA

UPDATE 2: It’s been revealed that the PC version of Arkham Knight was handled by Iron Galaxy Studios, a small 12-person team primarily known for their console work. Among other projects, they handled the Destiny port to PS3 and Xbox 360.

Not played yet, this thread is not filling me with confidence but then again maybe I'll be one of the lucky 1% that it's playing ok for?

Email cdkeys again. I only bought the base game so I will not get the Harley Quinn DLC if it's not included like they said it was.

Says it all really, how can they let it branch off to a team clearly not capable of getting it right  a blockbuster game like this requires more due care and been in capable hands surely.

Anyway I sold my voucher on the MM, might pick it up in a month or so if the game is fixed by then.

12 person team.... Well that says it all. If I hadn't ordered through gmg I'd certainly be demanding a refund.

They were most likely the cheapest bidder for the work and won it that way.

What a shame I got this POS and not Witcher 3 with my new GPU.

So, I have 2 GTX 980's, as a lot of people know by now the latest nVidia drivers released for this game have a broken SLI profile, I get slightly better performance with one card.

So, if you can put up with 30FPS I have changed back to that in the ini file and switched SLI off, and I also dedicated the second card to PhysX, this gives me the most solid performance with very rare drops below 30 FPS, I know 30 sucks but for right now it's the only way I can play this.

Rocksteady should be ashamed at doing this to PC players.

the Pc version has no AO if anyone is wondering why the game looks a little flat. Both the xbox and ps4 version have this lol.

Yeah i saw that on another forum earlier, the PS4 screenshots look better than the PC version to me.

I think i might buy Arkham City as i've only ever played Asylum, i was really looking forward to this game but the performance issues are putting me off playing, not to mention it crashing on me all the time. Hopefully by the time i finish City there will have been some patches.

Seems it would be better to get this on the ps4 as reading around it has things missing on the pc version like the better wet shaders..better lighting..maybe even higher textures since the pc version only goes to normal at best?

for some reason my download is at an absolute crawl between 33.7gb/33.8gb? god knows

*seems im not alone then, sorry for anyone whos been waiting for this game, sounds like a nightmare for us! i only got it due to the nVidia promotion, wasnt on my radar

I know right, considering this was the game they were advertising with the new cards that came out it's basically a slap in the face to Nvidia because the devs of the Batman game did such a poor job. It amazes me how they can release such poor quality products, it would be like buying a new car only to find you can't drive faster then 20mph because the engineers did a rubbish job with it.

Port is terrible shame for Rocksteady they will be remembered for this not their decent ports on the other 2 games :(

GTX970 cannot handle this @ 1920x1080 I need to knock the resolution down to 720P to get any kind of playable FPS I do not see it getting fixed either the porting team chosen were clearly the cheapest possible
