Batman Arkham Knight - Official Thread!

Or if you have the Electric charge thing just zap them and they drop the baton.

Finished everything apart from the Riddler trophies... only have 80/239(or what ever it is) Not sure I can be bothered with them just to get the full ending.

Because running around for this stuff is just damn annoying.

Rename the games 'number' folder and recreate the folders within and put the files in the right ones using the original one you renamed as the template.

Worked like a charm.

One thing from playing about 5 hours of the game- the Arkham knight is rubbish. I couldn't care less who it is!... There is a part where a character(you know who if you played it) comments on how rubbish a villain he is as well!

It is running acceptably for me, but no better. But even then, it is still a disaster...The textures are appalling and no amount of blur, CA, dof can mask that. If anything they make it look worse.

Tbh, I don't regret buying it as I will no doubt replay it anyway, and I always enjoy games more on the second playthrough. Always have done.

As for the game. I am not a fan of the gating off of certain missions by bridges meaning, for example, you can't get the batmobile to a certain part of the map that you need to in order to do riddler challenges or Firelfy mission. Riddler has been taunting me for ages about not going to his latest challenge, but I can't as when I get there it says the batmobile can't auto-navigate to that area. Am I missing something?

Also, considering Batman's Rogues Gallery is probably the game's biggest strength, I am disappointed in it in that regard so far. No epic boss fights or memorable encounters at all.

I also found it annoying to have parts of the area effectively locked up with the bridges. Your not missing anything, you will be taunted mercilessly till you get to the right story mission that unlocks the bridge, same as I was :(

Just done the story up to a certain part, and Alfred says that there are lots of open cases still to solve... Well I can't get to any of them!

Surely I'm missing something. How do you lower bridges?

Apparently from reading up, it is just opened up by Alfred at some point. Really poor way to do it... They don't care any more do they?!

Yeah, that's when there are bits where you just have to push on with the storyline to unlock further side missions.

Arkham City was no different in that respect.

It is so badly done though. If you are going to gate it off like that(which is bad anyway), why have riddler continually asking why you aren't doing his mission, or why have the firefly building on fire in the first place.

The batmobile is funny. It is probably the best(well, apart from a certain character, you all know who) and worst part of the game! Overall though I think it is great. The chases against firefly and the armored cars are really good.

Do you complain about GTA games being locked down until you get further in the story? It's a way for them to feel like you are progressing and opening stuff up. just think of the riddler taunting you to get your finger out and unlock the next part of the city :D

Running through story only atm and I'm enjoying it a lot, just got inside the big mansion after freeing the underground plant

Absolutely loving it, definitely see myself replaying this when performance is better but I'm at a stable 30fps on max settings and not really noticing it tbh. Gonna do the side missions for 100% completion after finishing story mode :)
