What's disappeared? Afterburner osd? Have you recently switched on paper debris or interactive fog as both these settings make the game run in dx10 and the OSD doesn't work for some reason.

And now the game looks truly awful. It has stopped raining so that isn't masking it anymore and there is some weird green texture all over terrain that looks hideous!

Right played the game a bit myself tonight and damn, I love batman :D

Without doing anything and max settings except the nvidia stuff, the game runs horribly, juddery and the motion clarity, urgh...... no idea how people are playing it @ default.


Using this tool has helped a bit and reduced texture pop in a bit:

With everything on max except the nvidia things and shadow (normal), it is mostly locked to 60 fps with drops as low as mid 40's, frame latency is rather choppy, can be hovering around 15-20ms mostly but there are times where it will jump to 25ms or even higher.

Overall the game looks "pretty" but the textures do look like they are lacking detail.

PS. I have put this on my SSD.

Yeah I am not going to play too much, will just do some side missions and mess about, unfortunately I have no other games to play :( The game is running pretty well for me since using that tool though, only issues I have is the textures looking rather poor (very little to no pop in now though) and slight judders every now and then.
 
This game is absolutely epic, I am trying not to play the main story line but as usual it just gets me hooked and I can't resist :D

Just got onto the second map/part of gotham now.
 
Finished the main story earlier. It was OK. No way I'm doing all the stuff you need to to get the real ending!

Improved combat and the batmobile was great, but a disappointing lack of epic villains in general and 'boss fights' were poor. It definitely lacks compared to all previous games in terms of villains.
 
Yeah I am getting that feeling about the villains, only really seems like akrham knight and scarecrow atm (I am saving catwoman from the riddler atm), I don't mind though as the story is superb so far.

Followed that and the game runs very nicely for me, curious as to what the patch in August will do as the only thing that I would like to see are some HD textures.

I still get stuttering every now and then but..... for some reason, EVERY "gameworks" game has a slight stutter to it (regardless of settings) so I don't think the patch will completely remove it for me....
 
Got to 100% for the extra ending; bit meh but it's alright I suppose. Going to wait for the crashes to be patched before playing New Game + as all the crashes whilst doing Riddler stuff started playing with my patience.

Agreed on both parts. I just youtubed the second ending as I really don't fancy investing many more hours doing all that riddler rubbish.

As for the villains, I too was disappointed. Not only the lack of, but the easy mode that came with them.
 
Well just had my first blue screen with an error message:

WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

Restarted my pc and start the game up and the game crashes with this message:

Tried again and it worked fine the next time, thankfully my save file is ok.

Looks like it might be time to wait for the patch, lets hope the rumours of spring 2016 aren't true......
