Batman Arkham Knight - Official Thread!

Before the patch I had flawless FPS After the patch its stuttering :eek:

I fixed myself though you have to do the following to tweak the Texture Streaming values (this is all I did since day 1 BTW to enjoy stutter free gaming since it came out in June :rolleyes:).

Do this:
1: Find on your PC:
\Program Files\%YOUR STEAM LIBRARY%\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham Knight\BMGame\Config

2: Backup BmEngine.ini now search in that file for the following section:
[TextureStreaming]
MinTextureResidentMipCount=8
PoolSize=1024
MemoryMargin=128

Change:
PoolSize=2048
MemoryMargin=256

Save the file & it should stream all ingame textures very smoothly with no stuttering. All Gameworks settings except Enhanced Rain still cause stutter @ 4K.

Runs great on my 290 Pro finally!!!! Fully playable with everything maxed out apart from the nvidia stuff. Will try on my main gaming PC when i have a chance over the weekend.

Makes it worse for me.

Edit - In fact, the patch has made it worse overall.

@String, I had everything on/max was getting about 40-45 at 4K. Without I would imagine an easy 50+

From the graphics point of view turn them on, for performance leave them off.

oooh, patch and new catalyst driver, time to resume playing?

Edit: So before the patch/amd driver update I could play fine with crossfire enabled, now it's flickering all over the place and crashes!

Disabled crossfire and it's running really well. I imagine at 1080p a second card would be entirely redundant.

Patch has made the into logos skippable and has allowed us to toggle film grain, imo looks a lot better without the grain.

Was running pretty good for me before (980Ti, 4790k) but now runs constant 60fps at 1920x1200 with everything at max, including all the Nvidia Gameworks features.

The game looks markedly better too, with higher resolution textures, and the rain effects are incredible.

Uses over 4GB of VRAM though :eek: so I'm glad I've got a 6GB card. :D
