I was just about to ask the same thing, I was put off buying it in the state it was (even sold a game code from my 980Ti I heard the game was that bad) and have been waiting to pick it up but haven't been keeping up for the past few weeks with the progress of the patches etc.

Might just buy Mad Max instead I think it's getting released on the 4th September provided the reviews and everything are good, time to put batman to one side for another month I think.

Mad Max launches at midnight in under an hour....as you have a GTX 980 Ti Batman Arkham Knight is 100% playable from start to finish I have put it over 100 hours its a great game on a fast GPU !
 
Well i bought this game early today and have already played just over 6 hours without having any problems with a AMD 290 once i did some config tweaks, playing at 1440p mostly maxed out without the hairworks stuff being enable and i am getting over 40fps most of the time and i did read that the bat mobile gameplay was very poor on AMD cards to which i am not getting maybe that is due to the last patch or better drivers from AMD over the last few months for the game but i am enjoying the gameplay except for the riddle races which are so bloody boring.

Was thinking of picking up Origins on the cheap, but if the story is not as good as the other two games I won't bother.

Will wait until they have this game sorted and working on crossfire so I can grab that.
 
Patch is up for real now.

Seems pretty stable for me on a 780. Still a bit of a hitch driving the Batmobile. Just glad to be able to turn off motion blur, was that an option before the patch? Can't remember
 
WOW @ the patch totally different game for me, NOT A SINGLE STUTTER lol
that was my only issue with the game full blown stuttering when flying now its ULTRA SMOOTH lol
