I think I got my point across to this development team quite strongly about not being too lackadaisical when it comes to anti cheat.

Punkbuster is ****iung usless and Fair Fight is not enough so they need more than just a silly "plugin".

Hmmm what cheat protection are they going to use ? Better have something as that's a big deal breaker for me had enough of cheating scum bags :mad:

I think games like Dirty Bomb had so much promise but when it was flooded with cheaters and the development team were slow to sort out the mess leaving only a sparse population now is testament that they need to take anti cheat seriously otherwise they face the same fate as DB.

7.5% is going towards Anti cheat AND server hosting and had me question what they were going to use.

So my discussion with them wasn't a threat it was a suggestion and one that other people chimed in and agreed with and Joe Brammer then took note of.

Well time will tell what they use and how good it is, the only one that's effective today is PB.

If pb is used then there better be a better sla put in place. Otherwise they need to find a better anti cheat service whatever that may be. Having nothing at all is signing their own death wish and having a mediocre anti cheat service is just a ticking bomb.
