Battalion 1944 (ww2 game )

Backed these guys (£15). I hope they can make a good game considering you have the likes of Red Orchestra 2 but it looks good.
 
I'd say over the years I clocked up close to around 1000 hours in CoD1/UO. Comparatively I've only done around 500 hours total on CoD4. Much prefer the striped down no-nonsense action compared to having perks and kill streaks. Far more enjoyable imo.

I don't mean like weapons for anything.. For me I wouldn't mind. But I do feel now with the current generation of games people like "something" to work towards, whether that be a badge next to their name or a different skin for a gun.
 
I'd be more hyped if they were trying to bring back the RTCW and ET glory days, but this will do. Either way it's worth supporting attempts at bringing pc fps back to where they were in the 90s as currently the pc fps scene is absolutely dire and has been for years!
 
Almost concerned they are asking for too little money for what is a multi platform release! Backed either way.

Somewhere on the forum we were recently bemoaning the death of WW2 shooters and low and behold there's one on the horizon, hopefully there will be some Eastern Front content, but if not so be it.

Looking forward to this.
 
Backed at £15. Can't wait for this if it comes close to mohaa, cod 1 and 2 and 4 (with competitive mods to remove all the perks for matches)

They are saying all the right things!

Need to get clanned up and get in some leagues and ladders like the old days, clanbase, jolt leagues, ED etc etc.


ww2 mod for insurgency is decent enough though, had a few goes so far.

This is what I want from an FPS - good old competitive 5v5's. No perks or weapon mods. Promod did this well!
 
I wonder what kind of stretch goals they will be aiming for given that they have already doubled their target with a lot of time to go!
