*** Battlefield 1 ***

Seems to be some problems tonight, the armoured vehicle (with the little turret on top) continuously despawns.

The shotgun feels woefully underpowered as well, either that or I was getting some horrendous hit detection. More than once I had sneaked behind someone and unloaded 3/4 shells into them at very close range only to get murdered.

Wouldn't surprise me if they were underpowered though, if I remember rightly the BF4 shotguns were pathetic until they got a buff (probably over buffed).

FPS on the One not the best either.
 
So i downloaded it earlier for my PS4 and played a couple of rounds. It was ok but i can't help feeling and thinking its just Battlefront with another skin... Basically it didn't really do a lot for me. I am going to give it a few more rounds tomorrow to at least give it a chance but i think my last 3 game purchases of Battlefront --> Division --> NMS have scarred me and may be affecting my decision. :p
 
I'm really enjoying it so far (and i didn't like battlefront) although i have to admit the map is getting a little tiring when on repeat. Heres a few snipes from a couple rounds tonight :cool:

 
I have played this on both Xbox One and PC. The weapon balance is rubbish. It took 15 years but BF has eventually become COD. I am one sad panda and have no idea what I am going to play now. :( It was bad enough in BF4 when they made planes spawn but everything else they have done is incomprehensible. R.I.P Dice.
 
Absolutely loving this at the moment, I'm not great at shooters on console but I'm having some good rounds. There's obviously room for improvement but I am enjoying playing a non-modern shooter.

RB (On Xbox). Guessing R1 on PS4?

The range doesn't feel as far as other BF games though?

Wow I've been aiming way too high, I don't know how the zeroing works either :/
 
While on PC rather than console spotting wasn't working properly for me in the beta - it would work sporadically for about 5 seconds at a time then stop working entirely for 30-40 seconds - not played enough to know if that is down to any kind of gameplay reasons or a bug though.
 
Never played a BF game before, but am enjoying this! It really gives a sense that you're part of a big battle. I'm finding there's too much going on at the moment and I haven't got to grips with any class-specific stuff - how do I revive people as a medic? I end up rolling around and then getting shot!
The shooting is difficult, very different to cod, but am slowly getting used to it. Think it will be better when I unlock some better guns.
 
Really torn on this game. Looks fun to play but just not sure how long for.
Too much emphasis on sniping right now.

Think Titanfall 2 will fill the online void or just stick to Rainbow Six Siege.
