I'd love for them to go back to WWII but just can't see it happening with the current game model and progression of the storyline from BF3 to BF4. A near future game seems far more likely...

Seems like 80% of people want WW2, while 10% seem to be keen on WW1 and 2142 remake. Please don't get this wrong, after hardline I need a proper BF game again.

If they do a WW2 game I'm sure they can put in proximity fuses for you.

EDIT: Oh and the Germans were working on IR sights soon after WW1 though I believe they only saw limited use in 1945 - so with a bit of a stretch we can keep the poster above happy and have them as upgrades on every gun.

I think a WW1 is pushing it a bit for night vision scopes. Practical battlefield devices didn't start appearing until the end of WW2. Even then unless they put in night maps they would be fairly pointless.

The EA access thing just lets people play the game a few days early. Just think of it as the game getting proper beta test.

wonder why Dice isnt partnering with AMD this time round.will nvidia cards run it better.sounds as if they have been working with them.like AMD did in previous titles.also big title for amd to lose.

They are gonna have to go to epic lengths to convince me to buy it after BF4 never mind if they wrap it up as an OA exclusive.

TBH, I am not hyped about this game at all:

1. Sooooooo bored of MP FPS's now
2. I have a feeling it is going to be incredibly dumbed down and more in line with battlefront and copy a few systems from it like the "card" pickup system

Plus side is that the graphics should be incredible if battlefront is anything to go by....

now before i say anything, I'm not saying nvidia are not working with DICE on BF5 as i don't know either way. However, that linked article which links to another, off that Sweden site seems like 2+2=whatever we say it does....

are the two events even in the same city?

it just looks like these two companies are doing something on the same day so they must be linked or did i miss something?
