Welcome to OCUK, it's been that way forever. People want to shout about how much they hate a game and let everyone know even when they've posted about it multiple times already. I don't think BF1 is perfect, hell there are things I wish were more like previous games but I think the point is it's fun especially with friends and it's miles better than SWBF (which I regret purchasing!).

I don't think BF1 is perfect, hell there are things I wish were more like previous games but I think the point is it's fun especially with friends and it's miles better than SWBF (which I regret purchasing!).
It is a little weird how long term fans of Battlefield are annoyed that the game has suddenly gone super casual. Not including bugs, there are many, many issues with BF1. Shockingly they have a right to be annoyed at the current state of the game.

Spawn, get shot by a sniper. Spawn, get shot by a tank. Spawn, killed by debris. All in a matter of seconds. Most frustrating gaming experience ever.
Ultimately SWBF was too shallow with few compelling maps and poor design of the upgrades and perks, etc. but I had some casual arcadey fun with SWBF. BF1 seems to have a leg in both types of game and doesn't really pull from the best bits of either. I actually rate SWBF above BF1 personally in terms of fun. (I actually really enjoyed walker assault on hoth in the beta, though sadly how it was tweaked into retail didn't play so well - shame the rest of the game didn't build on top of that rather than that being basically the pinnacle of the game).
I dunno why they couldn't have just gone for a more finessed version of BF4 with some of the lessons learnt in regard to what does and doesn't work even if they did want to put stuff like elites in.

Because it's a fanchise I love. I have very many fond memories playing it with friends and having a great time. That's why i'm involved, not that I have to justify it to you sah.
I would say so yes because on the loadout screen there is a customize weapon button , which at the moment just goes to a screen which says its not in the beta.
I've noticed the game crashes on first launch every time, the reason why you ask?

Has some decent rounds earlier, not too much sniper and tank spam. Still undecided on buying it.

Really want to enjoy this game but still struggling to get past the fact it plays like ann arcade version of what BF should be 
Not a bad thing if you can accept it for what it is.
Has to be said the guns are far to random with one-on-ones feeling like a coin toss.

So as someone who has put thousands of hours into the Franchise I now can't talk about it or must ignore all interest in it?

Is it normal to spawn with no weapon, it's really difficult to work out if you like the game when all I can experience is a desperate few seconds trying to find a body to loot.

This, enjoying the game but I get crashes with no signal.

I had it few times even after changing servers and restarting the game 
(sniper is amazing.)
