*** Battlefield 1 ***

A fully manned bomber is invincible to all but AA emplacements. It can gib planes that try to shoot them down, and no one can coordinate multiple fighters to hit that.

Not quite invincible to all. Heavy tank turret can aim high enough to get a shot on it. I been using the HE shell, so i guess the AT shell would be even better? The bomber is even easier to kill when its in a banking turn

DX12 is still a bit of a mess. Gone back to DX11.

I'm still baffled at the Assault class. It literally is starter smg then 10 shot guns and then the HellRiegel. Why oh why is there nothing in between?

Why sooo many different shotguns! Those should mostly be different smg or something abit more offensive.

The shotguns maybe 3 tops.

GG's last night, the BAR seems to have benefitted very much from the buff.

Most of my kills came from the Auto 1918, not unlocked that yet but seems to be the go to weapon when shotguns are not used.

There is 3 shotguns. The Model 10, Trench and 12G auto.

I honestly think shotguns should be removed from fps games like this. The trouble with them is the balancing. They have to be one hit kill at close range, but how do you balance this against making smgs useful only at shorter ranges without giving them so much range that they impede on assault rifles. All shotties ever seem to do is annoy people. Yes we can balance them and severely limit the range or everyone can change to them to counter but in the end they are still easy mode weapons that are just frustrating to play against. It's not a war simulator so we don't have to have shotties.

Then we should remove sniper rifles as they have too much range. Then remove scopes on assault rifles. Then remove the automatico which is ridiculous at close range. Where do you stop with it? We'd end up with everyone using the same gun. I don't really mind the shotguns, they only seem to be half an issue on Argonne forest, and they are pretty easy to avoid if you play smart and avoid the narrow passages.

Also, when using Steam voicechat, the in game volume drops significantly and I can't figure out how to fix it. Anyone got any ideas?

I remember while back I had this happen but it wasn't steam chat.
Right click speaker and open playback now select the option furthest to the right and select do nothing.
Sorry not at pc atm for correct name etc

Everyone using the same guns would be awesome. Pure skill, no element of ' I've been playing for X hours and paid x pounds to get a good weapon'

Exactly what happened to me last night, i had my volume at max and could hardly hear the game.

As soon as steam chat got closed it was normal again.

Will give it a try, thanks.

...and this is why I play Division. What a mess from DICE. You'd think they'd have learned from BF4 but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try going to playback devices, which ever device you use Right click>Properties>Advanced>Untick "Allow application to take exclusive control of this device"

Doing that has fixed similar issues for me in the past.
