*** Battlefield 1 ***

Was on yesterday on EU servers and they were back to normal, certainly not rubber-banding like they were.

Mixed bag for us last night, some very laggy some no issue. I have a distinct feeling that the issues occur on most maps when there are a large number of players (and gas/explosive spam) in one portion of the map. The new 3 flag russian map seems dire when everyone is fighting over B, however one of the large open maps we played on where the teams were running the magic roundabout seemed fine.
 
Just started playing this for the first time today. What's up with the FPS in the cut scenes of the single player campaign. I'm getting 22 FPS, then it jumps up to 100 when the gameplay starts. Is this this same for everyone and/or is there a way to fix it?

Suez was terrible too, when there were about 50 people fighting over B
 
The amount of cheating that goes on ruins a lot of servers for me ! I wish they'd make the maps a bit more open too, so a sniper could sneak out to the edge and snipe in more easily / without being spotted ! Bring back the mega maps of 1942 !
 
Anyone having problems since the windows update today? I've had 2 runtime error crashes related to my 17.9.1 drivers and DX12 and one occasion where the screen went black but the game kept running. Might not be windows related but it was running fine before the update...

Still very laggy imo, its very obvious when you're driving a vehicle and watching it move along in third person, its moving along then seems to go sluggish for a bit then goes back to normal. Trying to repair the repair circle resets itself 2-3 times, getting hits on other vehicles you see it hit but it doesn't register all the time.

The US servers are Borked now too, it was unplayable last night.
 
lolstomp games of rush last night. Steamroller attack followed by flawless defense. The artillery barrage is OP against camping snipers.

There's a rumor that incursions invites will be going out early next week.

I hope they fix the save progress for the extra weapons most of mine advance so far then stop.

Its practically impossible now to fly a plane without half the friggin server blasting away with lmg's, all because dice added some retarded achievement for taking a plane out with one. :rolleyes:

Pilots coming from bf2 to bf2142 had to learn this the hard way. In bf2 helicopters were practically immune to ground fire so just hovered about racking up kills. In bf2142 very different, trying the same approach meant a very quick death so pilots learnt to use terrain and proper tactics. The same is true for bf1.

The difference is lmg fire against airplanes was relatively small until dice added this achievement, now it seems like half the players on each team are laying prone spamming lmg fire into the air.

If it were up to me it would be even harder to fly planes and keep them alive :p
