Probably best you ask in the customer service section, 5UB will give you an answer either way.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Some of the fps claims in this thread are laughable![]()
Hi all,
I am playing at 1080p with all settings on Ultra and getting average 44 fps never dropping below 31. Do any of you guys have HBAO disabled and if so do you notice any difference? I would look myself but I am at work and just reading up on it atm. Also Motion Blur as well.
My card is a MSI 570 Twin FroZr III OC/PE.
Cheers
Things that boost fps by 5-10 each or more when turned off oe down are
HBAO=off
Mesh Detail=medium
Motion Blur=off
MSAA off
shadows on high rather than ultra may also we worth doing if you dont mind the very slight loss of image quality over a few fps gained.
That lot like that and the rest on ultra will gain you a min of 20fps but you may get upto 40.
HBAO/SSAO adds a weird outline shadow to objects, it tries to make them stand out more against the background, but personally I hate it.
Mesh Detail, not sure really.
Motion blur, pretty self explanatory, its a nice effect if used right and it looks good sometimes, but its better with it off.
MSAA is anti-aliasing, basically removing the "jaggies" from the image. However, the Post AA does a good enough job at removing them, so keep MSAA off.
Running 5870 CF @ 1920x1200 (tried full Ultra and Ultra - MSAA) and getting epic stutter - game practically freezes and frame rate goes down to about 5.. rest of the time it's 60+
Tried 11.9, 11.10, 11.10 + CAT4..
Never had problems before I crossfired. Now even with crossfire disabled I get microstutter every 200 frames or so. GR
Anyone experiencing the same?
For everybody playing BF3
TURN OFF HYPERTHREADING
Amazingly smooth and for me I can now run my 6970 overclocked where with hyperthreading turned on had to run my core on GPU underclocked.
As well as much smoother game BIG increase in FPS allowing all settings on ultra except mesh detail and motion blur.
If anyone can explain why this game behaves like this could they please explain.

I've not used the preview drivers and I don't think the i5-750 has hyperthreading?
