Woah hopefully that isn't true! A 580/6990 is out of the question for me, although a 6950 is great value for money since it can perform almost like a 6970.

I reckon that requirement is for 3D or mutliple display gaming, I doubt you'd need such a high card for a single monitor setup.

Funny, I always thought people who use the awp are just noobs who can't use all the other guns that require actual skill rather than just landing a hit anywhere.

back in the day i used to watch quite a bit of CS matches from the proffesionals (i.e. mouze sports and such)

so you're saying even they are noobs when they use the AWP?

Why would i care about the 'professionals'? If they want to allow thats there problem, i'm talking about public servers.

Can't say it showed much. Everything the sniper did was blatantly scripted since the moment they started crawling forwards near the end he suddenly takes several pot shots at the wall chipping bits out.

Mixed feelings about what I just saw with that trailer. The whole sniper thing seemed to be scripted (those shots were always going to hit those spots). If those are the sort of Urban environments that will be available in MP though it's going to be truly awesome online.

I've seen that trailer already as a clip in their teaser trailer :(, p's that sniper was crap must've been suffering from hitbox issues :D :D

They fixed so many bugs since the original video such as Arabic letters are now correctly in the right order.

Dice good job so far.

hmmm one thing i find weird is the "static blip" that occurs just in time to cut out the view from the player cam of crouch to prone.

That looks awesome!

Of course the SP is going to be scripted when the sniper hit the pipes and all the other stuff but I bet if you stand in the open you will get nailed.

If you want a rich story with a lot of "OMG moments" then you are going to have to come to terms with a certain amount of scripting. Its hard to create an emotional roller coaster in a free form game. In the FPS world ARMA is probably as freeform as you can get but it will never be as exciting as games like this.
