That was just nuts, the tension though when a tank rolls by and you dash out.. throw on some C4 and peg it.. :D :cool:

Aye, spent most of my time so far on the 64 player TFU Conquest server. So much fun :) definitely prefer it to 16 v 16. Although I must admit 32 v 32 on Metro trying to get up those stairs / through the barrier to the defender spawns on the street is rather hilarious :p

Ah, yeah this what my only thought about how to do it. Bit rubbish there's no other way as it basically makes the Stinger useless... or judging from the games on TFU tonight it was as I tried that a few times but the pilots either didn't drop flares until I had launched or they flew out of range :/ thanks for the tip though!

I was a bit worried when they announced the classes for BF3.

In BF2 i used to love playing as spec ops, using the C4 to run and harass tanks close up, and get in close with the enemy infantry using a SMG or similar.

So when i heard there was no spec ops in BF3, and the support class was going to have C4, i was a bit disappointed. But the class customisation in BF3 is such that you can turn your support class into a spec ops class if you want. With the added bonus of being able to carry around ammo crates thus giving you unlimited supply of C4.

Ultimate win !

they are cutting it a bit fine to have it delivered on release day though ?
 
Does anyone else get the disconnects? IT happens within about 2 mins of joining a server. It is getting really annoying now.

Congrats, you're the first to get them :D Serves me right for trying to be recon :o I should just stick to support!

Had a good evening on TFU's 64 player conquest server. No issues at all, well apart from me sucking at recon and also being stuck on the losing team! Ended up winning 3 out of 13!
