I just think this is a dodgy vault setting from what I am reading...I often got the "The display driver has stopped responding and has recovered" error.

I tried all that was on forums TDR/Changing performance settings/changing drivers/clean sweep of drivers/memtest86+ none of this worked for long but soon as i changed the bios on my gpu...taaa daaaa played BF3 for 11 hours on ultra settings 1680x1050 with no hiccups at all.

I got my bios from gigabyte website. Anybody else having 560ti probs maybe this would fix it for you. Nothing worse than getting kicked to desktop then having to ctrl+alt+del

I downloaded a BIOS last night but I'm a bit confused with it, its not very clear what version you are downloading it just says something like "nvidia BIOS version xx.xx.xx.xx / xx.xx.xx.xx

Can you remember which version was downloaded and what version is now showing in GPU-Z?

I was mortaring a bit last night on the TFU conquest server, think I got Manface and gord Tried frapsing some gameplay but gave up as it was lagging me too much and I didn't want to turn down the graphics Going to try MSI Afterburner tonight and see how that fares.

I was under the impression the warfare pack is not released to PC owners until tomorrow - 27th Nov...is this not correct?

I got my warfare pack (limited edition stuff) code along with my BF3 code and redeemed it in origin successfully.
No idea if i can physically use it as i can't log into BattleLog to play multiplayer... lol

I think you have the A3 as default weapon, then you get A4 unlock at 89,000 Assault, then again another A3 at 220,000?

The M16A3 unlock at 220,000 allows a Russian solider to equip it (It's the default for an American). The AK-74M (Default for a Russian) unlocks for an American at 220,000 as well.

Running this at 1920x1200 at Ultra with GTX580 and i7 970 @ stock 3.2ghz. Very impressed to be honest.. and it also runs perfectly well on High at 2560x1600 but I'd rather better quality and lower res. Easier to read all the text at 1920 as well! At 2560 everything is flipping tiny...

Yup. I thought the same in the beta, but it took 3-4 RPG's to take down a tank.

I just do the front line now, chucking out ammo kits, kamikaze tanks with my c4 and blow holes in buildings where the enemy are sitting. So much more fun although a lot more dangerous!

Anyone manage to get the mortar? I was getting killed constantly by mortar last night. Need another 5k point to get mine.

At a few hours a week of gaming it's going to take me a while to get the mortar!

At 1080p I'm running everything at high, except shadows on low, no AA, no notion blur or hdab. I don't know what fps it is running but it seems smooth enough. This is with a 4 year old Q6600 @ 3.6 and a 2 1/2 year old gtx295. I keep thinking what it would like with a directx 11 card, but I'd imagine the cpu would be a bottleneck and I'm not in a position for a full system upgrade for one game!

anyone know how to get the game to work again after you've moved it from a non-primary drive? didn't realise the sodding thing would install to c: even with origin installed on d:

Just hit level 12.

I'm running with a i5 2500k @ 4ghz, 2 x 6870, and 8gb DDR3.

Running at 1920x1200 with all on ultra apart from AA and shadows on medium, I get 45-80fps on average depending on map, looks beautiful and is all I had hoped for

What resolution and settings are you playing at? Im curious as to how upgrading your computer RAM solved the alleged VRAM issue. Also Windows Task Manager shows BC3 using just 1.8GB of RAM.

Using 1920x1080, everything Ultra, varying AA settings.

No idea, however running resource monitor my system Ram usage was at 100%, no standby or RAM free, with BF3 starting to page fairly heavily. Maybe my issue was different? When playing for 10 minutes or so i'd get sudden drops in FPS, down to 0.1 at times for a second then normal. Very bad stuttering.

Upped to 8GB ram, all sorted.

Last week i emailed them to ask about when i was getting it and the reply was "before Friday 28th" pretty much.
I cancelled the order and bought from CJS-Keys instead as it was cheaper.

I think the whole levelling of vehicles is massively OP to those that concentrate on levelling them first. If you're a first time jet pilot you don't even have flares so any other jets with air to air missiles will rape you.

I don't know, I haven't tried disabling crossfire.

I'm assuming probably about 20fps less.

How do I change graphics settings before loading a game? Everytime I load up a game I get sound but a black screen

When the game has loaded up and you have your black screen, go into options and change the screen resolution to something else. When it asks if you want to keep these changes simply say no and everything will be displayed ok.
