It’s clearly a fake, even ea have not said what you get in the box. EA/DICE also said they would say at GDC what you get,
Far too much txt as well, oversells the point; no marketing team would allow that out the door.
It’s a simple but sad truth someone like many of us cannot wait, and he/she is trying to get 5 mins of fame by spread rumours and lies, which will only lead to disappointment.

WoW they charging for karkand, that's low, it should be in with with the retail release. I believe it is genuine.

Have you even looked at where the image is being hosted? One of the biggest e-tailers around, who also host the storefront for the official E.A store at www.eastore.ea.com so no, I do not believe it is fake, merely promotion material, hence the reason why it is "wordy" to explain what you are getting.

If theres been absolutely no mention of it anywhere but that image then i'd be more inclined to believe its a fake than its legit.
I don't really care either way since i've never played it so i've no idea why everyone masturbates over Karkand...

The image is hosted on the EA Store website, that makes it official to me, unless E.A just uploaded it for ***** and giggles to wind everyone up.
Although Karkand is heavily played, it is still one of the best examples of level design for a shooter in modern day and the fact they hand picked the best map to shovel out as DLC stinks.
Nobody said anything about it being on the EA store page, it was said to be some random 'well known' website. If its on EA then yes, it'll be true, and yes, the EA marketing board could just sat there thinking of ways to milk the game for as much as they can.
Hell they already included a beta key with MoH because they knew it would encourage sales for what is otherwise an utterly ****e game.
But it could just be that the map isn't gonna be finished for shipping with the game. Of course it all boils down to how the 24 player 64 player thing is done... Most likely they've done all the 24 player maps first.

@Demize99 the old addage, level design is done on paper, mapping is done in an editor. Let's hope we get an editor-Augustus.

Well there shouldn't be a single player with this game right? No story line only online or lan. So my predictions is that BF3 will win the best multiplayer award and MW3 best single player award?

BF2 mods never really took off anyway, the majority stayed on the vanilla BF2 and ranked servers, will be the same with BF3.
I believe they didn't take off because BF2 was ranked whereas battlefield 1947(?) wasn't. So people prefered ranks and unlocks

Yeah people don't want to play for fun now we have rankings, players like to play ranked games and check their stats down the line. Mods are for the select few who just enjoy playing the game, sadly the vast majority prefer stats, I being one of them.
There is a Sp campaign in it this time around.
Sure... if the only 2 games released next year are BF3 and CoD.

Personally I can't stand FPS multiplayer it all ends up the same, MUST get it first so I can show how good I am by playing it to death for days on end , cheating , hacking , k/d stat whores , whining kids , and generally taking a game far to seriously. Just not any fun at all IMO.
The MP will be broken and DICE will forever promise patches , and then rip the arse out of you for DLC , business as usual
