It has an SP campaign.
I know it was aimed at the people who said there shouldn't be one
Errrr I happen to want to SP campaign if its okay with you ?
Personally I can't stand FPS multiplayer it all ends up the same, MUST get it first so I can show how good I am by playing it to death for days on end , cheating , hacking , k/d stat whores , whining kids , and generally taking a game far to seriously. Just not any fun at all IMO.
The MP will be broken and DICE will forever promise patches , and then rip the arse out of you for DLC , business as usual
If you can't stand MP games then you should probably be spending your time looking out for SP only or primarily SP games. BF2 didn't even have a SP and nobody will actually buy this for the SP either. Not when they could focus on MP and make it a little less broken (or more ambitious and just as broken).
BC2s SP was enjoyable but i don't particularly care about it.

probably already mentioned but rumour has it air combat (jets) and prone will be enabled, long live BF tradition (hint hint for BF2) also Karkand might be coming back i've read

Argh! If this is true that BF3 has single player all their focus wont be on multiplayer so the 'bad-ass development points' will be distributed :/
