They can be detonated with grenades though, they're good for that.
Any shotgun, M16A3.
Tis a very well put together movie that. Pretty impressed, the 3D work put into it is a lovely touch also.

I reinstalled origin after that patch anyway due to it crashing ...maybe worth a try
on another note new BF3 patch suppression gameplay

Cheers. After the patch it was fine, just when I updated Origin to latest version, IIRC 8.5.2? Had a similar problem when I first installed it. EA support was totally useless too! Tried booting into safe mode with networking and reinstalled Origin and seems OK now!

Is anyone else having a problem with the Tripod?
Before the patch, you used to just press scope with the tripod equipped and it would deploy; now, when you press scope it doesn't deploy, but deploys immediately after you take your first shot, which jerks the screen around is proper annoying...

Try the bi-pod instead.
Never use Bi-Bops personally. Always get me killing by deploying when I wanted to scope
Or people playing assault running all over the map capping flags and not dieing
I regularly run out of ammo without double ammo as I spend so much time running about killing people.
Squad flak is only of use on maps like metro and bazaar. Not much use on say caspian border

The bipod has been glitchy for me - sometimes deploying with the animation (and associated inability to shoot time) but not actually having an effect on accuracy. It's also deployed on objects before and made me look the wrong way, which is most annoying.
Went on a really laggy server, DAO wasn't do anything! however I didn't expect to crawl back and fall three floors to the ground below INSIDE the building. I completely glitched the map, put a spawn beacon up and everyone was like WTF.
I could crawl under the stairs and through walls
