Actually had a mobile AA that was almost impossible to kill last night. Took two of us to kill him. I think all of the advantages given to the jets in this patch are balanced by AA.

It isn't easy to take them out, but I think the hardest part is often finding the bloody thing. Given the number of buildings and trees and hills they have to hide behind I'm always asking people on TeamSpeak if they've seen it anywhere. The zoom you get on the guided missiles isn't that high and it's very easy to mistake them for an ordinary tank or APC when you're also trying to keep one eye on your radar.

Gonna jump on after a shower but I do want to finish Alan Wake////decisions decisions!

I want my next Jet unlock!

haha we have solved the cat mystery :D

Am I cracking up?

Since when did the F35 have the same all out straight-line speed as the flanker?

Both do 420 full burn? What's the point of having the advantage of VTOL and SUPERIOR slow speed agility if the flanker cannot outrun it at speed?

Was it always the same speed or did the patch change it?

I just watched a vid from last month and its really made me want to fly to Sweden to boot Patrick Bach square in the plums. Its a vid about the Battleroom expansion coming soon and during this video he claims the Battlefield "recipe" works in smaller maps and Metro is proof of that...seriously? So im assuming Battlefield has always been nothing but 99.9% rpg and hand grenade spam?

Why do they let this tool do interviews? I swear that idiots never even played Metro going by that utterly ignorant comment.

first time i played in months and and jumped into water and died followed by seeing bullets/tracers and being shot through thick walls that arent meant to be penetrable, yeah this still sucks

Been playing BF3 quite a lot over this weekend and it has suddenly started crashing on me a lot 10/15 minutes into a game. Only seems to happen on the 'busier' maps (64 player/vehicles etc). GFX/CPU temps are OK. I updated the GFX driver but no help (used the latest 'alpha' drivers not beta). It goes white/grey screen but minimap/ammo readout still shows. I dunno how to get a screenshot..? Any ideas on a fix. Have also tried doing the fix install thing on origin but no help..

Sadly he's right. It does work ....

When played on 24 player console server. I know i'm forever saying that the console derp stuff that gets thrown around isn't warranted, but theres no denying that some of the people in DICE barely know the PC versions exists.

If you go play metro on a 12 v 12 console server it works. Its not too crowded and everybody can get on with playing the game how they want. Sure you get some RPG / M320 spam, but its nothing like the extent to which 64 player PC servers are, and thus its actually playable.

I think this much is obvious as they have chosen this game mode as an 8v8 16 player game type. Small environments do work, but only with small number of players. Which is something historically the battlefield franchise has never been about.

Theres no reason that both game modes can't co-exist. The 64 player conquest epic battles, and the small out and out infantry stuff. But i think the battlefield veterans like myself (PC gamer or console gamer) are right to be worried that the classic battlefield conquest game we know and love, is in danger of taking a back seat while DICE goes chasing new money with these small player number game types.

Here's hoping not.
