Let me guess, camping overload?

Let me guess, noob who doesn't work as a team?

I can make rash judgements too :p and for the record I don't camp, it bores the bell out of me.

Without the mini map spotting enemy players for squad and team mates is pointless. Finding the location of ammo and med packs is a chore. You don't have a clue where the people are who are asking to be picked up.....

Imo you lose an element of team play.

Wot? I wa agreeing with your withering denouncement of the effects of removing the minimap. My point was that without it people would tend to camp *even* more than normal.

ah sorry, just reread what you said. Was on my phone earlier reading it and thought you were calling me a camper... anyway apologies :)

Without the minimap you are encouraged to actually look at your surroundings instead of relying on a map to tell you where the enemies are. Granted it has its downsides but its still funny watching all the players that clearly relied on it before for everything, utterly fail at having any form of map sense.

The minimap is part of the game and it's there to be used, so saying they fail for relying on it is stupid. The people who like the minimap gone will carry on playing on servers without it and vice versa for the people who don't like the minimap gone.

Without minimap:
No point spotting
No point in silencers
Harder to tell who wants picking up when in vehicles
Cant find ammo n health packs unless in line of sight
Campers are happy

As said above, saying people fail for using the minimap is stupid. Its a tool given to players to be used. If its there and you don't use its then thats a disadvantage your choosing to have.
If the minimap does stay gone from the 24/7 server is not the end of the world. It just seems silly to me to remove a feature that helps to promote teamplay in a game that doesn't have enough teamplay features to begin with. Though I suppose it won't be a problem for 24/7 member when your all on TS. Just going to make for a lot of very one sided games...
