No problems on my PC with wireless internet for every online game. TP-link adapter and virgin superhub (60MB connection) and there is like 5 devices connected wirelessy and 1 device hardwired.

Although I would much rather be hardwired instead.

Yeah, I've never had issues with my wireless for gaming. Only time I've seen rubber banding is when the entire servers pings spike and thats when a big number of players complain about it. Apart from that and it's pretty rare, I've never had it, nor have I had any crashes with it. It's as fluid as I can tell and thats with a USB adapter. My routers and hubs usually have 3 - 6 months uptime.

So I can only say wireless gaming is evil.

Though I could do with a sofa, my seat is pretty hard. My backside is all tingly after a while due to the hard foam.

I got a big ass leather chair where the seat has completely worn down but still comfortable anyway :p, although I now have a red blanket on top as 1. my cat sleeps on the chair a fair bit and sharp nails and leather don't go together :p 2. makes it even more comfortable. The entire chair is adjustable.

Any further clue as to what to expect in the next dlc aftermath ?

Expect similar maps to seine, bazaar, essentially will be maps from single player i.e. the earth quake. And expect more new guns, assignments, possibly new vehicles, new game mode, achievements:

Looking forward to this one the most as stated before CQ and AK aren't my type of maps and both seem to be more or less dead now anyway :p

If these maps end up being a disappointment as well then that is probably going to be it for me and BF 3, for good this time.

Except EA/Dice have removed them lol

Wow! Suppose we should have expected something like that from DICE/EA though

Hmm, reading around that the idiot known as Gustav Hailing has said that they never even mentioned about new weapons  Does he ever stop talking complete and utter BS?

TBH can't say I care too much anyway, I and everyone else just use the OP weapons, which have been in the game since the start :p

Lol.........

Hi all. We just wanted to give you a short update on our anti-cheat measures and how we think about a couple of aspects regarding this in Battlefield 3. As you know, we are always striving to keep Battlefield 3 as fair as possible of a game. This takes many shapes and forms, including (but not limited to): Reading the reports that you file; Analyzing player behavior and stats to catch potential cheaters; And hiring more people with the full-time job of increasing our anti-cheat measures and decreasing our response times.

To make sure that everyone on the Battlefield plays multiplayer on equal terms, we also want to make sure that the game files have not been compromised for any reason. For us, a changed game file indicates the user is trying to affect the game to get the upper hand in multiplayer, whether that’s by modifying the graphics or making the game otherwise behave in a manner that is not as designed. We will not differentiate between someone who has modified the game for reasons he thinks are benign and a player doing it to cause grief online.

Players tampering with the game files for any reason need to know that this is against DICE and EA policy and is grounds for banning. Everyone else just needs to know that we will always strive to create a fair online gaming environment.

Butthurt much DICE? because no one likes your crappy blue filter "art direction"

If they would fix the files themselves, people wouldnt have to change them for colour settings. Im all for banning those who tweak other settings, but no, in their arrogant manner they just dig their heels in and wont admit that they got it wrong. They didnt nail it, they hit their thumb with the hammer.

Think we should try the lawsuit on medical grounds approach, the blue filter in game is causing me severe eye strain lol, EA being american aint that fond of the old litigation.:D

I need help to stop in-game lag with BF3.

I have a good machine:

i5-3570K, Windforce - GTX 670 - 8GB ram.
My broadband is 15mbs down.

Am running 301.42 drivers - just feel issue is not graphics but internet.

I am getting lag - sometimes 'rubber banding'.

I have all suggested ports open, and ping is normally below 30.

Not a tech wiz, so struggling to know what to check next. Not sure I ahve changed anything recently to develope this. GPU for example runs at stock speed.

Any links or pointers would be really appreciated.

Are you running on a mech drive or SSD?

Btw what is your download speed like on speedtest and what broadband and broadband size you are using?

Do you get fluctuations in your signal speed?

I'll check Saturday morning when no-one is on the internet except myself, as i've been downloading a few things last night and Dishonored tomorrow, and afaik, i don't get fluctuations in signal speed.

I'm not used to HC on this, kept smashing q and expecting to see an arrow pop up on my screen (not the minimap), but HC definitely requires more ability, but i got like 12/13 kills and 15 deaths in the end and close to 5k points.

Except EA/Dice have removed them lol

Makes me ask the question as to whether they're taking the advantage because the vast majority have purchased Premium and they can basically do what they want, despite it is their game, but the fact they have mentioned in the past catering for the consumer/fans, their latest antics doesn't really correlate to that.

Imagine BF:BC2 with the blue filter, 'nuff said.

lol? That's why they use clientside hit detection.

Compared to server side which BF:BC2 is on, client-side hit detection sucks indeed.

Further to this I have read that C.I.A 2 being disabled in the mobo bios can also help. I do not know too much about this, bit have done a bit reading. When i went into the BIOS this setting was missing/didn't exisit.

Really frustrating, can anyone help get rid of this damn rubber banding / lag ?

Starting to get the hang of this now. was playing conquest last night and was surviving quite long. I like riding the cars all the way to the far flags and jumping out.

But I can't seem to fly the planes or helicopters. is it possible to fly it with a mouse and keyboard?

I find flying both Helis and Jets are better with Mouse and Keyboard.

With jets it is a good tip to use your spacebar to climb, this makes turning and climbing both smoother and more consistent.

I think i am going to watch some guide videos on youtube. I think it is the inverse mouse that does it maybe. Never played any bf games before or flying games. I had a helicopter going one time but then i lost control and it crashed. With the jets i end up just taking off and crashing. :(

Am i missing out a lot from not having the premium edition with all the addons? I see a lot of people with prem accounts.
