News just in for you hardcore freaks!

Level battlefield will now have 3d spotting off! Will make absolutely no difference tho games will probably be even better now! a lot more tactical!

Finally re-installed BF3 again :p

Been out of action for a while, spent a good month job hunting and then bought Win8 and couldn't bring myself to download the 5Gb+ on my crappy connection :(

Still haven't got premium though!

Still getting this problem with weapon dissapearing from view ingame, a few seconds after this happens the whole system just freezes. Anyone else had this. Game is fully updated/repared install etc.

setter, you really have some bad luck with the BF games :(
Lol, tell me about it.:) Been on BFBC2, it plays fine as does MOHWF, problem only started a few days ago. Ive made no changes to the system or no new programs installed.

May have to do an uninstall/reinstall of bf3, also got new ram coming tomorrow hopefully, use it to try and rule out a memory problem. Knocked the gpu oc back to stock, still crashing.

Regarding uninstalling bf3. Can i start the dl via origin, then stop it and just copy the files over, ive got it backed up to a second hdd, all but the update files from the last few days. A 24gb dl would take way too long on my connection.

Strange, backed of the oc on the cpu and gpu, new audio drivers, went on the same us server that the problem happened on. Crashed in under 30 seconds into the game. Restarted the system, joined the cq247 server that i play on regularly, (uk) completed a full tdm round without issue.

Might just hold off on the uninstall, try a few more matches to see if the problem crops up again.

have you updated pb ?

also maybe try a couple of notches on the voltage for cpu . ive seen some saying they oc this and that at certain volts and you know half is bs lol .

try doing ten run on ibt then maybe twenty if hc . if it aint crashing on that probably audio driver issue or pb or some other shizzle.

Yup, pb updated as well, when it crashes theres no error messages at all. Gonna try a few rounds again. (been playing a bit of bfbc2 today).

My overclock on the cpu was done via asus ai suite Dg, 1.25 vcore for 4.2ghz, theese utilities always set way too high a vcore for a given clock. Also changed audio driver from a xonar unified third party one to the latest from asus.

mine is @ 1.255v @4.2 not crashed once
at 1.250v crashed twice out of a week :p

so maybe you were just about right

been upto 4.5 stable @ 1.270 but my cooler isnt good enough really for that 24/7 so will probably get a h100 or a monster air cooler after chritmas

Same settings were fine for weeks, just started a couple of days ago. Temps werent an issue on cpu or gpu, 60 and 66c respectively. Back at stock on both cpu and gpu, no problems in a round just now. But bf3 on ultra with a stock speed setup feels helluva slow.
