i'm an average player, so hopefully some decent ones will offer clearer advice, but from what i've picked up so far :

1) stop running around for starters :D, if your running chances of aiming/shooting accurately are stuffed, try to move slowly, keep an eye on your mini map for enemies.

also if you come face to face with an enemy don't try and scope them, as the delay is likely to get you killed :(.

2) unless someone has there back to you assume they have spotted you and scoped onto you, so dont try to shoot it out, try and work another position.

3) if you see sniper scope glint or laser site glare HIDE.

4) if you peak round a corner and get shot at dont repeak straight away cos they more than likely have you lined up for a kill next time you pop your head out.

5) settings in the game (the network slider, better set as close to the left as it can go as from what i've read it helps spot people quicker).

6) have you got the game running at 60fps constant, if it drops to much turn off graphics settings etc to get it as close as you can.

7) even if your "hidden" behind a corner remember a part of your body might be sticking out, specially your head if your prone or crouched, so people can pick you off.

8) pick a weapon and stick to it and get use, unless you have a problem with it run as a medic so at least you can heal yourself.

9) check out youtube, some useful guides on there that might help.

hopefully people will clear up any bad advice i might have offered, apologies for that :).

PTFO! I can't say this enough. You can easily be in the top ten in your team simply by playing the objective. I call it playing smart. Stick with your squad and do what ever it is your class does. The game isn't just about K/D. Capping an enemy flag will get you 500 points. If you're an Engineer then repair stuff or drop mines under rubble or over the brow of a hill. If you're medic drop a health pack in a high traffic area or close to a flag where there's likely to be a firefight. Same with ammo. Drop regularly. If you see an engineer with RPG or Javelin, drop ammo at his feet. He will be eternally grateful. Map knowledge is good, watching your minimap is also a great thing to do. Get the jump on the enemy this way. Spot often. Getting good with vehicles can help on bigger maps but isn't the be all and end all.

PTFO! I can't say this enough.

figured they were trying to do this and after some help on how to stay alive while doing it, cos medics on pubs arn't always reliable for a revive you can survive. but likely to rambo revive for the points :(.

something else i thought of, it will take you a while to get them, but eventually you'll get perks that can be used for the whole squad, remember to keep an eye on the perks you have loaded and swap around to make sure the squad has a useful selection, still suprises me that you can go into a squad and they all have the same squad perks :(.

Not forgetting the most important point of all, knowledge of the maps.

its very important to have map knowledge, mainly camping spots/hot spots/ where the decent cover is etc, but i wouldn't rate it as the most important, might just be me tho.

and its easier to learn the map if you make sure to squad up and follow the squad around, don't be afraid to squad hop if you find yourself in a rubbish one.

After playing more on these maps from End Game the more I like them. Is that bad? CTF isn't great but Conquest is really fun with the different terrain etc. Nebandan Flats still annoying but the others are great.

new maps are awesome if both teams are trying really hard... like ive said before its not the game thats crap its the people that play it that ruin this game... had some pretty epic BF3 nights over last few days...

Westie thats a sentiment thats held true for all the BF series (and other online games I would imagine) The difference between a random server and a well adminned one with some friends on ts is really night and day.*

*yet to play new maps yet

Played a few hours this weekend of EG, although not much Rush as no-one seemed to be playing it. CTF is ok, but gets tough on high population servers, I played on a 8v8 server, mainly to get my assignment and actually enjoyed that, good end to end game, you could actually get the flag. It seemed like the way it was meant to be played. Conquest was fine, but needed vehicles, not that it bothers me much.

I prefer urban maps if I'm being honest, but it is better than AK.

Purchased premium today, loving it, just been playing on all map servers, seems the best way for me rather than just playing on one expansion.

Does anyone have a list or could type it out for me quickly, what maps come with each DLC?

Strangely there's not one to be found anywhere online.

Thanks!
